I pulled a plain, blue notebook out of my black, leather bag and started to write my number down neatly. When I'd finished, which was about two minutes after, I carefully tore the page out and handed it to Reed. I smiled.

Reed smiled taking the paper. He folded it carfully slipping it into his pocket."Great, thanks." Reed said. Reed sighed a bit, "So, besides all the glamorous you, I want to get to know you. I mean, we are co workers." reed smiled. "Where are you from?" he asked with lack of imagination of questions.

"Where am I from?" I blinked. "You- you mean, country-wise?"
I actually had no idea where I was born. I mean it. How could I answer his question? It's not like I could tell him I didn't know. That would sound so stupid. Who wouldn't know where they were born?
Me. I'd 'woken up' in America. Wherever, I didn't care. I was a baby after all. I wouldn't have cared then. (XD )

Emma Ryder ; ; Emma watched as Shane and Isobel left. She got up to leave, she pushed through a lot of people making her way to a exit. Several people reached for her hand to dance but she yanked away. She made it to her car with few questions and pictures, since most of the paps were inside now. She drove to the meeting place her and Shane had discussed.

Reed smiled a little, thinking she was joking. He realized she wasn't, "You don't know?" reed asked. Reed raised his eyebrows, "Your the first person I've met who doesn't know where they were born. You just keep surprising me." he laughed a little. "Then what do you remember?" reed asked smilling.

I sighed. I probably knew he was going to pick up on it. It was sort of obvious. "I don't... know. I just, well, for starters, no one actually told me. I never asked because I was scared my parents would growl at me." I though of those times where my dad would glare at me, my inside burning with shame. I felt that now.

Reed looked at her, wondering. Your scared of your parents?" reed asked. Right after he felt stupid. Reed shook his head, "Sorry, you don't have to answer that." reed said.

I looked up at him, my forehead creasing in confusion. Reed seemed flustered. I sighed to cool myself down too. "My- my father, he always leaned hard on me. Told me I had to get straight A's on every test in my grade, and be top of the class, and if I didn't, then he would make me stay in that grade. But he's made me a better person. At least I'm a good person."

Reed listened, he couldn't believe her obedience. "Have you ever broken the rules? Ever had fun?" he asked stupidly. Reed was always kind of a rebel, he was homeschooled for acting.

I blinked at him, thinking, are you serious?, but decided not to say anything like that. I laughed. Well, of course, I've had fun, but I've always followed the rules. Doesn't everyone?"
