Luke looked down at his vans as he walked through the hallway. He didn't want to head to class just yet, not that he ever did this early. He normally made it to class right when the bell rang, maybe even after.

[ should luke run into maia, since they're in the same couple? or at leadt will be once they meet? cx ]

Maia

I rushed down the school hallway. Yes, I'd sort of gotten better in the last hour, and begged my parents to come to school. They let me.
I hurried and bumped into someone accidentally. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I looked up to see a boy. I blushed. "Sorry, I was sort of in a rush."

Luke groaned a bit when someone ran into him. "Maybe you should watc-" He stopped himself when he looked down to see a girl. His lips formed into a smile. "That's alright. I haven't seen you here before, are you new here?" He asked.

Maia

My cheeks reddened. "Yes, I'm new." I looked down at my black Converse shoes and bit my lip, prepared to receive snide remarks or actual niceness.

Luke nodded. "Well, whats your name?" He asked, leaning on the lockers beside him. She was beautiful, was his first thought. And, since she's new, she wouldn't know that he is a so called 'player'. Even though, he'll admit that's what he is.

I looked up and noted his mischevious, shining eyes. "Maia. Maia Hale." I attempted a little smile.

"Beautiful name," Luke said with a wink. "Im Luke Hemmings." He told her with a small smirk on his face.

Maia

"Well, then, Luke, hello." I smirked back at him, regaining confidence in myself. I scuffed the ground with the tip of my shoe.
