Layla instinctively shrunk away from him, "N-no. I got it!" She stammered and quickly grabbed her things. Then she paused for a moment and calmed down, "But you could show me my room." She murmured softly.

Danny blinked at her for a few moments before he silently nodded. "Okay, follow me." He muttered quietly as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and started up the stairs towards the room he decided would be hers. He occasionally stopped to see if she was still following him. "This is it." He said finally, pointing to a white door.

Layla quickly grabbed one of her bags and followed him up the stairs. She smiled faintly when he stopped to make sure she was behind him, an action she found considerate and kind. When they finally stopped she looked at the white door, she nodded, "Thank you." She replied softly and opened the door, taking her bag inside before walking back downstairs to get her other bag.
