Alex huffed. "That's one way you could put it." She said, walking about a foot behind him, her backpack was limply thrown over her shoulder, only being held by a few fingers. Alex kept looking at the dirty trail, listening to her boots trampled on twigs, leaves, and bugs.

She answered vaguely in the most conversation-killing way possible, totally ignoring my question. I quirked an eyebrow and looked back at her, stopping just to stare at her incredulously. "I could've sworn I'd asked a question." I crossed my arms a bit over-exaggeratedly, just to hide the fact that I was actually kind of annoyed behind a layer of humor. This girl was crazy hard to talk to and it's kind of driving me completely bonkers.

Alex stopped as Jonah turned around. She rolled her eyes and put one on her hip. "Well, actually, you asked two questions." She said sarcastically. "I only felt like answering one." She finished her sentence, a bit of sly humor in her voice as she walked ahead of him.

"Yeah, I'm home schooled.'' She admitted with an awkward smile. "I've never been out of this place before." She added with a small shrug. "Anyway, tell me about yourself, since we will be stuck together for a while.'' She said, changing the subject.

I breathed angrily through my nose as this girl just,...ugh. My nostrils flared, and I ran my hands through my hair aggressively as she walked by. After a few seconds of panting, I fell to the floor, laying on my back and looking up as the light filtered through the leaves. "I give up. Goodnight." I closed my eyes, placing my hands over my face as I tried to calm myself. I just wanted to throw this girl over my shoulder and into the nearest freezing cold lake.

Alex looked over her shoulder, seeing him on the forest floor she walked over to him. She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned over him. "Give up already?" She sighed, blowing some hair out of her face. "And I expected more from a guy like you." She rolled her eyes, stepping over him. "Anyway..Have fun getting eaten by...whatever lives out here. I'm going back to camp." She said to him as she pressed play on her music.

A guy like ME? A GUY LIKE ME?! Oh no she didn't just stereotype me! That's like, grrr, so typical of the stupid zombies society has created. I sat up so quick I got a head rush, seeing black spots in my vision. I ignored it, breathing out through my nose like an angry gorilla. "A GUY LIKE ME?!" I yelled loud enough that she could hear despite having head phones in. "That is SO typical. People take one look at you and assume they know every little thing about you. If I had judged YOU by your appearance, I never would've spoken to you on account of the "Piss off" sign on your forehead. But I decided to give you a chance, because maybe you're actually a human being who is capable of emotion, but I guess I was wrong. I guess you're just like the person everyone expects you to be. Well, guess what, Missy? I'm not, so don't you ever label me again!" I gave her a final grunt before collapsing back onto the floor, balling my hands into fists.
