"Thats me!" August blurted out, hearing his name. He looked over, seeing the girl who called his name, he clumsly made his way out of the crowed, to the girl, almost tripping. August gave her a shy, awkward smile. "Er..Hi. You must be, Mason, right?"

Luke turned to look down at the girl. "Oh, hi," he said blandly. She didn't seem like his type. She seemed too sweet and artsy-fartsy. "Luke," he said, gazing around the camp. He was a bit excited, despite his attitude. His parents sent him here to get better, but it seemed like adult supervision was pretty much nonexistent. There were so many pranks to pull and girls to torture. He bit his lip, looking back at the girl.

He looked around boredly as he heard he had a partner. Lillian? He ran his fingers through his hair as he spotted a girl on a tree trunk with no partner. ''Are you Lillian?" He questioned with his hands in his back pockets. he wasn't much for introductions, he mostly just asked for a name and walked away. But now he would have to be stuck with these people for summer, so he might as well get to know them better. He glanced around the camp, soaking in their faces, trying to put names to them.

I bent down so that I was eye-level with the girl, and widened my eyes at her. I mouthed at her "one second" and made the motion of taking out earbuds with my hands. If I could get one word from this girl it would make my day. Honestly. I came here to AVOID my busy mother who ignores me all the time, and I get paired up with exactly what I'm trying to avoid. I waited for her to remove an earbud before talking.
