"Oh. I can walk you up to the nurse if you like." I say to her glancing nervously back at Amanda who is gladly chatting with Brynna.

"Ok, thanks." I said with a faint smile up at him. My eyes followed back down to my leg and I sighed.

I out of nowhere stumble when I walk with Skylar. I quickly pass Amanda to try and not start drama or jealousy. Now I sort of wish the power would come on. At first it was cool but now it's just getting annoying.

I winced as I walked trying to start a limp "I hope nothings broken." I said with a quiet tone looking through the darkness. We arrived at the nurses office and I sighed with relief. There was a small safety light in there so i could actually see. "Thanks." I said to him quietly

"No problem at all." I reply, scratching the back of my neck. "Oh I have my phone... I could have used that as a flashlight the whole time!" I choke through embarrassed laughter.

I giggled a bit putting my hand in my pocket. "Wow same" I laughed and entered the nurses office. She looked at my leg. "Sweetie do you have a parent we could call?" The nurse asked. "I-uh.. n-no.." I said nervously. The nurse gave me a concerning glance "Well you need to go get an x-ray... your leg doesn't look good." The nurse sighed and I looked at my legs the small light making the room glow.

After dropping Skylar off at the nurse's office, I walked down the hallway back to the math classroom. I fast-walked past the doorway hoping Amanda wouldn't notice I had gone anywhere. When I arrived at my desk, I started worrying about Skylar. I just couldn't get it past my mind. "I wonder if her leg was broken?" I mutter to myself. When Amanda walks up to my desk it makes me jump because I was too dazed in worrying. .-. {that is my face right now}

I sighed as the nurse looked at me confused "Is there.nobody you can call?" She asked and I shook my head lightly. Oh please just stop talking... I begged in my head. The nurse just went on and on explaining that I needed an x-ray and that my leg was either broken or sprained.

I knew something was up by the expression on Aidan's face when I walked up. I didn't have a clue what it would be though..? I looked around the room and saw that somebody was missing... Skylar!! But why? Did it have to do with him? I had to keep investigating. A chair was knocked over. Did Aidan or Skylar trip?

The nurse gave me a stern look. "So you don't know anybody who can take you to the hospital? Where are your parents, sweetie?" The nurse questioned me and I clenched fists "I live alone.." I finally blurted out. She looked at me.sadly "You haven't met anyone with a car yet...?" She said a bit more quiet while I just looked at the floor "No..." I said quietly
