Caden glanced up at the girls face when she began to speak. He looked back down at the doodles, and nodded his head. "No, it's alright. I'm not a morning person, so I understand." He replied. " I'm Caden. Nice to meet you, Andrew." Caden said, giving a small but friendly smile.

Ashtyn's cheeks became a bright shade of pink when the boy caught the attention of not only the teacher, but the whole class. That kinda just backfired a bit. She thought, feeling embarrassed. As the boy turned to face her and hand her the pencil, her green eyes met his blue ones. "Um... Thanks." She replied, the blush still evident on her cheeks as she took the pencil.

Andrew gave a soft smile back. "Nice to meet you Caden. I haven't seen you before. Are you new?" she asked curious. She had been living in the town for as long as she could remember. Her dad didn't have the heart to move. No matter how many bad memories it gave them. She practically knew everyone, but that didn't necessarily mean she talked to everyone. She like to avoid most people. Not that she wasn't friendly, she just never had enough sleep or patience to sometimes. Plus, most people stuck to their cliques.

The teacher shook his head and turned back to the lesson. Link gave her a soft smile before he turned back to face forward. He ripped a piece of paper from his notebook and flipped the pencil in his hand like he had before. He then wrote a note on the paper
Sorry about that. Got to keep the class entertained. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable. The names Link.
He folded it and slipped it between his middle and pointer finger. He then dropped his arm to his side and moved it backwards a bit so the girl could grab it. He made it noticeable for her but he knew the teacher couldn't see.

" Yeah, I am new." Caden replied with a nod. " My sister comes here also, I'm not sure what her classes are though." He said, mentioning his sister Ashtyn. Being completely honest, moving around all the time and changing schools was a pain. He liked to travel, but he didn't like moving from one place to another to live in constantly.

Ashtyn picked up the note from the boy, and began to read it. Once she finished, she picked up her pencil and began to write back. No, It's alright. Just didn't expect that... But it's fine. I'm Ashtyn. It's nice to meet you Link. She wrote. Her handwriting was a little weird, it was almost like a mix between print and cursive, but it was unique. Ashtyn hoped that they wouldn't get caught. At her old school, if you got caught passing notes or texting, you had to read them out loud. Pretty cliche, but it was still super embarrassing. She passed the note forward, keeping it hidden in her hand from the eyes of others.

"You have a little sister? I have an older brother. He's a year older but still is in my grade. I don't know how" she said and shrugged. "And if you ever need someone to sit with at lunch or show you around, I'm your girl. But if your a jock or want to be popular, your probably not helping your case talking to me. I tend to be more of" she paused thinking of a word. "Loner" she said and bit her bottom lip.

Link had his hand back and took the note in his hand. He briefly read over the note and took his pencil in his hand.
Ya, sorry. I tend to have sudden. . . outbursts. And the pleasure, is all mine.
And with that, he slipped the note back to her, earning a couple of quick glances from some students. He just winked at them. He knew they wouldn't rat him out. Link was friends with everyone. He had his ways.

"It's like that with my sister and I. Its weird, but. I guess we are in the age range for the same grade I guess." Caden replied. He listened to what she had to say next, paying close attention. " I don't really care about popularity that much. It's just a label." He said with a shrug.

Ashtyn saw people glancing towards the two of them, and began to feel a bit nervous again. She took the note from Link, opening it up and reading what he wrote. Honestly, it's fine, you don't have to keep apologizing. Do you know when this class is over? She finished writing the note, folding it back up and handing it back to Link. She caught the eyes of those glancing back at the two of them, hoping that no one would tell on them. She ran a hand through her long brown hair with a sigh, glancing up at the board.

At the sound of an alarm going off Hailey shot up in bed. She looked at the time and noticed she was very late to school. Not usual, but also not planned. She slid into her black skinny jeans and looked at her shirt selection. She went with a red muscle tank top. She quickly put on mascara and eyeliner after curling her red hair. Hailey ran down the stairs, grabbing her keys and school bag on the way outof the door. Once at school Hailey entered her English class, hurrying to her seat trying not to cause a scene.

Noah sighed as he sat in the back of the class room. He hadn't talked to anyone all day but that was usual. He sat in a plain black shirt and gray jeans. He tapped his pencil in the desk, minding his own business. But, although he wasn't paying attention to the teacher, he laughed a bit as some students made a fool of themselves.

Andrew smiled. "Good answer." That was her opinion on it to but for others, not so much. Some people went out of their way to be at the top of the social ladder. "So where are you from?" she asked. She looked up as someone came into English. Late. She quickly turned her attention back to Caden.

Link took the note back and reread it. He cocked his head.
Nope. Sorry. I'm bad at remembering things.
Link passed it back to her and opened his notebook. He wrote down what the teacher had put on the board. Not that it made any sense to him. He was just happy to have history next. History was always easy.

"I've moved to a lot of places, but I am originally from Colorado." Caden replied. He decided he wouldn't explain why he moved a lot yet to her. He watched people come into class late, but didn't put too much attention to it.

Ashtyn took the note, reading it over again. She began to write down on the paper again. Thats okay. I'll find out on my own then. She finished writing her reply, and she passed it back up to Link. Ashtyn felt her phone vibrate in her bag, but she decided to open it after class. That was a safer move, anyway. She wrote down a few more notes in her notebook about the lesson.
