misty looked at the boy as he muttered something. she didn't quite catch what he had said. shrugging it off she pulled her other ear bud out so she could hear him. and when he replied she just scoffed. "i feel bad for you." she said before smiling. "i was just checking though. ya know being a good citizen and all." she said barely able to hold her laughter in as she spoke. she was far from good. "i hate people who text, call or use their phones period while driving. that's one of the reasons there are so many deaths in the us." she sighed shaking her head. and it was true. thats actually how she lost her mother. was to a distracted driver. it didn't help he was over the BAC also. turning back to noah she smiled and offered him her hand. "my names misty." she said.

Noah watched as the car sped off. Oh how great this country's drivers are. he thought sarcastically to himself.  "Well, i guess that's what i get for being a teenage boy who rides his skateboard around." he grinned as he looked down at her. He rubbed the back of his neck. His black hair traced the back of his neck which sent chills down Noah's spine. "I have like, zero tolerance for people like that. I just don't even understand. Driving alone with your ohine off is fun. It's s way to free your mind... escape from the outside world," he said but felt like that was a very cheesy thing to say. So, like usual, he let out an awkward laugh. [color=#40BFF] "Oh, I'm Noah. Nice to meet you, Misty,"[/color] he said politely, shaking her hand with a smile.

biting her bottom lip she looked out over at the traffic. even though at the moment there wasn't any. running her fingers threw her hair she pulled the hair band out of her hair. causing it to cascade in blonde curls down around her shoulders. "noah? i've never met anyone named noah before. that's different. a good different though." she said with a smile. shoving her ear buds into her bag she stopped for a second. "oh wow. no wonder my bags such a mess." she muttered shaking her head. it was a habit of hers to just shove things into her bag and then forget about it. glancing at noah she tilted her head to the side. "where ya heading? if you don't mind me asking." she muttered.

Noah laughed a bit. "Well, it is a pretty odd name... but, in my defense, I didnt pick it! And, I haven't met anyone named Misty either, so I guess in a way that makes us even." he joked. He had a good sense of humor if people actually understood it amd didn't think he was trying to be rude. At this moment Noah became very aware they were still standing in the road. He kicked the back of his skateboard up and caught it in the air. "It would be very sad if the first time we ever met we both got ran over. C'mon, outta the road," he told her with a smile. Once he was no longer in the middle of the road he turned to Misty once again.[color=#40BFF] "Honestly, i have no idea where I'm going... I just like to be outside. I was thinking of going to get ice cream or something,,"[/color] he told her, wondering why she was asking
But, he still smiled at her.

scrunching her nose up she looked at the boy. he had a good point. they were even. there weren't many noah's and misty's. not like the popular name of like james, or tyler. or steve. she knew quite a few of each. family and none family. when she heard what he said she sighed. "wouldn't be the first person who died in my family by getting hit by a car." she muttered under her breathe. before looking at him smiling. but of course she followed him off the road. she looked down the road, right now. she could walk to her house. seeing as her dad was pretty rich. he got a big house, a large house. on one of the richest streets. it even came with it's own pool and everything. licking her lips she looked over at him, and gave him a small smile. "nice." she said smiling at him. "but... i know we just met and it might seem weird me inviting you over to my place.... but if you want free ice cream. we've got a full freezer full of ice cream back at my place. just down the road." she muttered. she was embarrassed to live in such a large house. because there where times she always thought people just wanted to be friends with her for her money that her dad had. just wanting her to spend money on them, then drop her like that.
