He felt his arm being pulled back. He looked up at Amber. Liam could see the pain in her eyes. He He ran his fingers through her hair. Liam gave "A lot of hints aren't right." He said holding her close to him. He always felt safe with amber, and he hoped she felt the same. "I need you to promise...if anything like this ever happened to you....you would tell me." He said stern. He clenched his jaw, to try to remove the thoughts of this happening to her. He couldn't imagine...if her father ever did this to her, he would. He would. He didn't want to know what he would do.

Amber couldn't promise because she hadn't told him, she had always wanted to tell him, every time her dad would hit her she want to cry about it with him, but she couldn't. She then broke into tears into his arms and through then she said, "I'm sorry" she paused, "I should have told you" she knew he knew what she was trying to say without her having to spell it out that it had happened to her as well

Liam couldn't explain the rage he was feeling inside him, it wasn't towards amber. It was towards her abuser, her father. He breathed heavily, trying to calm down. But he did have a short fuse after all. He felt a tear run down his cheek. He held amber like he had never, like if he let go he would lose her. "I'm sorry. If he ever does this to you again don't hesitate to call me." He said. But he knew this wasn't going to happen to her again. He didn't know how, but he kept thinking. He sat there for a long time. Just hugging her fighting back the tears. "Your not going back to that house." Liam said.

"Yeah, those are adorable. French Bull dogs definitely" I say and steer us out of the marina. I laugh when she mentions the fight "Yeah, sorry about that" I say. The kiss catches me off guard but I lean into it. I smile at her I love you "Love you too Park" I say, I grab her around her waist and pull her back into me, our lips inches away. I smile at her before leaning in the rest of the way and kissing her again.

I sit up and smack my alarm clock. Are you kidding me? I forgot to turn off my alarm? Great, I get to wake up at six on my first day of summer. Well I'm awake now. The cruise doesn't leave for two more days, I can hardly wait. I grab my phone and text Blaze. I know he wont be up for a few more hours, but he'll see it when he does. Hey babe, wanna grab lunch later? I have riding this morning. Can't wait to see you. I send it and smile. I'd started dating Blaze about a year ago. We have been friends since we were kids and I never thought we were going to date. I get out of bed and throw on my riding clothes, putting my hair up in a low pony tail. Ace jumps off the bed and follows after me down the stairs. I feed him his breakfast and let him outside. Our backyard is fenced in and he has a shock collar on, so he won't go anywhere. After I finish my bowl of cereal I grab my keys and hop into my cinnamon colored Venza. The barn I ride at is only 10 minutes away, and I can't wait to get there.

Amber sobbed in his arms and held him back trying to calm down in his arms. She sniffed and wiped her tears against him, she looked at him after hearing his words and she struggled to talk, she was thinking of showing him her own bruises but didn't think it would make it better, so she decided he didn't need to see it then she said, "what do you mean? It's my house" she told him and looked at him questionly, tears streaming down her face in a constant river of emotions.
