I glanced down at the bag of dog food I held on my arms. There was a small puppy not unlike mine jumping towards me, the design of a kitchen in the background and a food bowl filled with the stale pebbles of food located in this very bag. But I did notice that, even though the picture was quite charming, it was causing a lot of work for my arms, and even though I did often play beach volleyball the bag was no match for me. I let out a sigh of relief and nodded thankfully, shuffling forward a few steps and handing it to him. I paused for a moment to make sure he was okay with it still, and then took a step back. Thank you, Gage.

When she seemed okay with the idea of him taking the bag, he set the smaller bag of ferret food on the ground against his leg and then went for the dog food bag. As he took it from her, his hands brushes against hers, though it wasn't done purposely as he took the bag with ease and positioned it so he was able to carry it with one arm. It was pretty easy for him to grab the other bag off the ground and carry that in the other. "No problem." he said in response as he began to head towards the registers. He quickly paid for the ferret food before he waited on her to do the same with her dog's food. "So what type of dog do you have?" he asked her now.

I'm going to be completely honest here, but when he took the bag from me and his hand brushed mine, two things happened: 1, the butterflies in my stomach? Yeah. They exploded, and I could feel their feathering wings covering my insides. 2, I was now perplexed by his muscles, and I had to almost punch myself to look away. How embarrassing is that? I hoped he didn't notice as I followed him, quickly paying for my bag of dog food. I turned to him as he asked the question. Blue Heeler. Her name's Libby. I replied, and was about to ask the same question of him when I remembered he had a ferret. I was going to ask you what kind of ferret you have, but... I laughed softly. I don't think there are very many kinds, if any at all. What's your ferret's name? I decided to ask. Why not be sociable, especially with a hot guy?

He nodded to her words as he now went for the door to the pet shop. When she asked him the name of his ferret and about the types of ferrets, he laughed. "I don't even know what type of ferret he is. His name is Zeke to answer your question." he said to her on response, answering the question along with keeping the conversation going as he held the door open for her. "I'm guessing you walked?" he asked her curiously. The dog food bag wasn't so large that it couldn't be put on his bike, though he wasn't going to just offer up a ride if she didn't need it, though he did need to put Zeke's food on it so he wouldn't have to carry that when he didn't need to.

I nodded at his words, smiling at his ferret's name as I thanked him and walked out the door. I imagined what color Zeke was, and thought that the name pretty much suited the image in my mind, though of course there were many different colors and patterns to be found on ferrets. I snapped out of it as we began to walk towards Gage's bike, and I nodded once more. Yeah. I replied, glancing at the bag of dog food he still had on his arm. I'll get a work out today hauling that home! I joked, laughing. I could just imagine my mother demanding to be told why I was sweating buckets from a walk to the beach -- oh! The beach! That's where I'd wanted to go in the first place.

Once he made it to the black bike, he took the ferret food and opened a small trunk that was on the back of the bike, inside was his helmet. He took it out and placed the small back inside before closing it and looking to Taelor. "Well there are three options to that. One, haul it to your house and end up straining something. Two, have me do it. The last one, I could just give you a lift, it's not like I haven't had a bag of dog food across my bike before. Your choice." he told her as he placed the helmet on the seat. He was being nice, but that's how he usually was around girls, including the ones that blushed around him.

I listened silently as he kindly listed the options, and looked towards the beach as I thought about it. Well, option one would be unfortunate, as would two, because that would be plain rude of me. I settled with option three, and took a few steps towards his bike, placing my fingertips on the helmet he put out for me. Well, aside from the fact that you're basically a stranger, I wouldn't mind you giving me a lift. After all, it's not everyday that I get to ride on one of these. I pointed out, while the last words were just my thoughts I'd said aloud. I took hold of the helmet and placed it atop my head, squeaking as the unexpected weight almost made me fall over. But, I quickly regained my balance by putting my hand on the seat. After all, I'd never worn a helmet when learning to ride a bike, and I still never did now that I could easily shuttle it down the streets.

He watched her take the helmet and couldn't resist a grin when she squeaked. Yeah, the helmets had padding so they were sometimes heavy, not that he really ever wore his, the one in which she was wearing. "Stranger Danger." he said jokingly before he took the dog food and placed it sideways in front of him as he got on the bike and turned it on, the bike rumbling to life as he looked back to her. "I suppose that means you've rode before, otherwise I would have to tell you to hold on and don't let go and before I even start moving, where do you live?" he told her as he waited on her to get on.

I saw him grin as I made an attempt not to fall and rolled my eyes, though he probably couldn't see because of the darkened shades that sheilded my eyes, which I bet would not exactly come in handy, since the bugs here didn't exactly swarm and there wasn't much wind. I lifted the helmet up a bit so I could hear him, my blue eyes watching him as he turned on the bike. I jumped back in surprise - again - as it rumbled, but my quickening heartbeat calmed after a moment. Yes. A few times. I live on Calivona Street. I replied, easily swinging one leg over the back of the bike and making myself comfortable as I slid the helmet back down, over my face.

He raised an eyebrow at her jumping back and shook his head as he watched her get on. He nodded to her words before he went ahead and got on the road once she seemed comfortable. At first he was only doing twenty but was increasing with each second until he was up to fifty as he headed for Calivona street. He stopped and slowed when he needed to but otherwise he maintained the same speed until he was on the road, it was then he slowed the bike back to around fifteen miles per house as he waited on her to point out her house.
