"I know" Arriane said sadly glancing down at her camera. "Somehow, I can't give up hope though" She looked up at the sky noticing that it was almost over. It had been breathtaking and now the sun was taking over the sky turning it blue the rightful color of a beach sky.

I knew this boy liked Charlie, it was pretty obvious. Although there wasn't many people who didn't like Charlie he was a funny little thing who couldn't sit still for longer than three seconds. I shake my head as he gestures to the part of the next to me that Charlie was sitting on. "Nope," I smile but it fades as he mentions me being a cute girl. "I..." I feel my cheeks go red, I run my fingers through my fringe but it just falls back over my face again. "I'm Rebecca, this is Charlie," I extent my hand to him, trying to ignore the fact he had called me cute. Was it just a joke or did he really mean it? Charlie had now jumped off the rock and was searching for something on the sand, or he was sniffing around for a spot to dig and bury whatever he could find.

I nod as Gabriel explains why he was in town. "I was planning to go to the beach later too, maybe go home and get my surfboard first though," I say before quickly looking to the pet shop. Had that always been there? I had never noticed but that was probably because I didn't have a pet of my own, as much as I wanted one I already had enough responsibility of my own. I notice Gabriel wave to a girl who was a couple of feet behind us, had she been watching us? I was never good at telling if someone was following me or watching me. I wave to her and smile, as did Gabriel.

Brit shook her head, "fine." She said smiling. She played with the music as thy drove. She was just as opened mouthed as Adam when they got there. "How, why, what" she had so many questions but they weren't coming out. It took her a second to come to reality. She jumped out of the car racing after Adam. She saw him stopping, "oh" she mumbled blushing. They probably looked like 2 year olds. Brit smiled and shook her head not caring what they looked like. Brit shrugged, "at least they noticed how fast track stars we are." She joked as they continued walking the rest of the way. She decided it was too slow, "I'm still gonna beat you!" She smiled and started running again.

Adam grinned, looking up at Brit and running again. He couldn't beat her though and she got there first. "You cheated." He said playfully and gave her a light push. "That one." He pointed at a huge rollercoaster,with loops and all.

I pressed my lips together, begging myself to stay calm as the other boy shot me a greeting wave and smile as well. Keep it together, Taelor. I thought wearily, swallowing hard to clear the rising nervousness in my throat. I noticed that they had gotten back to their conversation, and, not wanting to keep standing there all awkward like, I came up with an excuse. I began to walk again, and since they were somewhat blocking my path, I glanced up at them. Sorry, I need to get through, to go to, uh... I looked around. The pet store! Yes, I need to go there. I'd totally just made a fool out of myself, but I squeezed through them after excusing myself and speed walked towards the store. I mean, it wasn't totally just to bail me out - Libby needed some food, anyways. Once I got to the small store I quickly let out a huge sigh of relief, swinging the door open and rushing inside.

The young man nodded his head in response. "I'll see you there then." He said to James before the girl they both waved to squeezed between them to get exactly where he was going. He moved his shoulder just enough so she could get through without pushing him. He looked to James and then shrugged before he reached the pet store. "See you around." He said to James before he disappeared into the store, the bell ringing as it opened and closed. He began to look for the food in which his Ferret needed. Once getting to the isle, he picked up the twelve pound bag which would last Zeke a good while. It was then he spotted Taelor again. "Why were you in such a rush?" He asked her curiously.

Once inside the store, I glanced around, making sure that there weren't that many other people shopping. Otherwise, well, this wouldn't be the best place to "hide" from those boys. I scanned the isles, walking up and down them before I finally found the dog food. Nearby, there was the ferret section, and I smiled at the look of the strange, long creatures advertised on many of the merchandise. I had just spotted the familiar bag of pet food my mom always got and had cradeled it in my arms when I heard that rich, heavenly voice again. Oh, no. I jumped in surprise, whipping around. I dropped the bag of dog food at my feet, shrieking as it just skimmed my toes. I looked up, trying to make sense of what he had said. Uh... Was all I could mumble as my eyes widened. And, my gosh, was he gorgeous. Or, uh, if you could even say that about a guy... I could feel my mouth go dry as I lifted my hands to swipe my straight, long blonde hair from my eyes. I leaned down to hide my reddening cheeks, scooping up the bag of dog food as I tried not to meet his gaze. I was... I just needed to... I bit my lip, the words jumbling together. I mean - why did you follow me? I narrowed my eyes accusingly at the strange - but cute - boy.

He didn't laugh at her surprised demeanor or the fact she was having trouble talking to him, though it was interesting. He had watched the bag of dog food fall to the ground when she saw him, he guessed he surprised her, his fault. "Follow you? I was coming here before you showed, sweetie." With those words he held up the bag of ferret food he was holding in his tattooed arm, his shirt preventing her from seeing the rest of it, the black ink disappearing under the material at his shoulder. She seemed to accuse him, but it didn't bother him at all and instead, he offered her a smile. "Name is Gabriel, though I just go by Gage, either is fine." He said to her, introducing himself now. He also wondered why she would think he had followed her in the first place.

I glanced down at the bag of dog food I held on my arms. There was a small puppy non unlike mine jumping towards me, the design of a kitchen in the background and a food bowl filled with the stale pebbles of food located in this very bag. But I did notice that, even though the picture was quite charming, it was causing a lot of work for my arms, and even though I did often play beach volleyball the bag was no match for me. I Lett out a sigh of relief and nodded thankfully, shuffling forward a few steps and handing it to him. I paused for a moment to make sure he was okay with it still, and then took a step back. Thank you, Gage.

Maybe he shouldn't have called her that, though that was his usual way of speaking to a girl his age when he didn't know their names, though he caught her reddened face before she looked down. It was pretty clear the accusation of following her was thrown out the window now. As she shifted the weighted bag of dog food, he thought to be a gentleman and ask. "Do you want me to carry that for you? I really wouldn't mind and it's nice to meet you Taelor." he said to her now. He knew she could probably carry it but he also knew, dog food wasn't exactly easy to carry for a long distance depending on the weight of the bag itself.
