Berry nods. "We actually had to go pick something up from the police station today..." He says, hoping the other wouldn't be upset. He sees Eos, waving him over calmly. Eos looks at Adam, his eyes immediately suspicious and wary. "Hello." He says, his voice calm. "Who are you?" He asks, trying to keep from being hostile.

[Carstairs.]

"The police station?" Adam repeats as he and Berry walked. Now who's speaking before they think? Adam cursed himself.
Berry waved at someone, and Adam saw a bracelet on his right wrist, and that it matched the one on the boy before them's left wrist. Eos, Adam thought it must be.
When Eos eyed him suspiciously, Adam said as politely as he could, "Adam Thomas. Nice to meet you."

Eos smiles slightly, nodding. "Pleasure to meet you, Adam." He says, before looking at Berry. "Are you ready to go? Do you want to walk or drive." He asks. Berry thinks for a minute, before smirking and making a sort of mimic engine noise, indicating he wanted to drive there.

[Carstairs.]

Watching the two boys communicate so comfortably and carefree, Adam was slightly envious of their friendship. They appeared to be very close.
"That sounds like business," Adam observed. "Maybe I should stay here; I don't want to intrude."

Eos shakes his head. "No no, it's perfectly fine if you come... So long as you are not planning anything." He says, looking at him suspiciously again, until Berry reaches up and pats his shoulder.

[Carstairs.]

Seeing Eos's wary eyes again, Adam wasn't sure he wanted to go with them after all.
On second thought, what could be so bad? It's probably something to do with their job.
He could always ask them... No, it was too early for that. Instead, he'd abide with it. Surely they'd make friends soon enough.
"Okay," he said, forcing a smile. "Lead the way."

Eos smiles again, turning and looking around with cautious eyes. He seemed on edge as some people looked at him and Berry, occasionally whispering rumours about them. Eventually, he walks out to the parking lot, getting into the drivers seat of the van while Berry got in the back. It was littered with toys and board games and plush animals.

[Carstairs.]

Adam followed Berry and Eos to car park, and sat beside Berry once they got into the van, though there was little space in between the objects strewn across the car.
"So," he said, not settling completely in the van. "What are we going to the police station for, might I ask?"
He hoped it wasn't a risk asking.

Berry was already starting to play with the toys, stacking them and making them fight one another. "We were there last night, and left something we needed there." He says.

Becca

Becca walked out into the car park to get to her small vehicle, before she saw a trio climbing into a van, causing her to stop and stare. She noticed one of the lads looking around suspiciously at people before, which made her feel self conscious and worried whilst she walked to her car. She continued to watch them right up until the dark haired boy got into the van and as soon as the door shut, she bumped into her car, hitting her knee on it, causing her to curse in her head. As she climbed into her car, she couldn't help but keep watching them.

Zoë gratefully took the paper from Jessie, giving her the first genuinely kind smile. She scribbled her number down too, handing the small slip of paper to Jessie.

"Want to go grab something to eat with me?" She asked, hanging her handbag over her arm. "I have a free period."
