"really? cool!" Hanna followed Jake's carful directions and found Maths. 'Thanks, by the way." She grinned happily and sat down at an empty desk, waiting for everyone else to come in. She was one of the first people there, so Hanna pulled out her schedule and looked at it, trying to make sense of it. "What class do you have next?"

She looked at him. "sounds boring... but so does science.", she said and folded the paper again, stuffing it in her pocket. "mind if I join you?", she asked, looking up at him.

"28?!" Her mouth dropped slightly. "ive only ditched about that many times." she Closed her mouth smiling shyly from the small scene she was making.

I laughed. "I know. I just can't find the point of why we have to learn English when we already speak it," I said. "That and my mom made me take an art class last year. I was the only guy in there. Guy don't paint flowers."

After pulling onto the main road, he took a right down a small side street, "I promise it's not as bad as it looks." He reassured Ashley, claiming a spot right below a blue neon sign displaying the name "Jiving Java by Jazz Matthews" The boy hopped out of the convertible, rushing to her door to open it. He then made his way to the trunk, which he popped open to grab a guitar case, "Jazz doesn't always let me drink for free." Adam grinned, moving to the cafe's door.

The ride was silent speaking wise, which she didn't mind. The girl didn't want to make a fool of herself. As they pulled up to the school, Resa bent over to unbuckle her seat belt, fidgeting with it for a moment before it popped off. When he spoke a shiver of surprise ran down her spine and she straightened her posture to turn and reply. "Uh, yeah. If it's not too much trouble..." Theresa bit her bottom lip; a nervous habit. "I have geometry first, and I've been late to that class almost everyday." Her voice trailed off again and she turned her gaze away from Ramsey and out the window.

Kalen nodded, "They come through town at least once a year, for the midsummer bash. I've gone every year since 2008." His eyes fell to his bracelets, which he was still picking at. The boy's hand stung mildly, but he didn't want to see the nurse and have his nose burn from the fumes of disinfectant and the stench of the sterile room. He would probably be late for class, but decided that wasn't that bad.

"Not at all." Hanna says, shaking her head. She was happy knowing that she knew at least one person in her class. "So.." Hanna trailed off, not sure of what to say next. A thought formulated in her mind, and she hoped Jake wouldn't take it the wrong way. "Have you ever skipped class before?" Hanna asked curiously, turning her head to see Jake.

I shrugged. "Well once I kinda half-skipped... I forgot about a biology quiz we got that day so I said I had to go to the nurse and stayed there until halfway through the period when I knew the teacher would be giving a new lesson and had collected all the quizzes," I said. "But it was just that once. I don't really like skipping because I miss too much."

Hanna nodded understandingly; she had done something like that before. "Yeah, I get what you mean. Plus, if they find out you weren't sick, you'd get into a lot of trouble." Hanna said, turning to the board. She glanced at Jake and asked, "You good at math?" she was secretly hoping for a partner activity to pair up with Jake, but that was just wishful thinking.
