The day had been mostly uneventful. I had been hoping to meet someone extraordinary. Oh well.

I went to the local Starbucks and got a grande frappe. I scrolled through Instagram and paused to like my old friends picture. I sighed. I really missed her...

Troye closed his eyes as he listened to kalens voice, nodding slowly “I think i almost get it?” he posed his statement more like a question as he replayed the words in his mind, fitting them together like a puzzle, matching the ones that made sense together. He thought the last part could accurately describe most things about life… He loved it. This language made more sense than normal english, to him anyway. He opened his eyes again. The park was much closer, he noticed, hoping the change of scenery didn’t change this feeling. The feeling was something of simple belonging, or wanting to belong, and seeing a possibility. “So you change the way you see things, rather than what you are seeing…” he thought out loud and asked “don’t you ever want to take pictures of something that changes like, i dont know... people?” he wanted to know just how weird and untalented he was- taking pictures of people, the easiest thing to do in the art world wasnt it? no hunting, no looking, just posing and clicking. but wasnt that what modern life was about? a masquerade of walking down the red carpet, hearing nothing but clicks wherever you go- isnt that it? he shook off the thought and glanced over at kalen, wherever that red carpet was, he somehow escaped it. he seemed so real, any moment now troye expected to wake up.
