Nicole smiled and gave a polite nod to Lizzy. She paused for a moment. "Uh," she started. "I don't know." She said, confused with herself. She heard a noise not far behind them. She snapped her head around to look, but there was nothing there. "Did you hear that?" She asked, glancing back at Lizzy.
