Ashley walked to the bus stop and looked at the bus, leaning against a pole, she glanced at Ryder and spoke in a soft tone. "Are you okay?" Her voice was calm, and curious. She looked at the frown pursing his lips then thought. Hes upset.. maybe i should leave him alone. She then went silent.

Ryder frowned "yea" he lied "my names Ryder, this is my little sister laci but she's shy" he stated sighing and looked at the girl then down to his phone again "where are headed?" He asked the girl

I sighed, but clenched my fists when I saw him with another girl. That fast? Really? I hadn't meant to Hurt him, I just had wanted to think. I honestly needed him, but just seeing the hurt in his eyes killed me. I ran up beside his sister and handed her the note he had given me. I had scribbled something onto the back. Ryder waited for the girl to respond and sighed when his sister handed him a note and he read it and frowned and put it in his back pocket and his eyes were filled with sadness and he wanted to run to her and hold her close but he was tired of hurting everyone he loves, he just couldn't and his heart skipped a beat when he saw her walking away (Arizona) and he looked back to the girl "ex girlfriend problems, one day love I guess you could call it, I'm just tired of hurting the ones I love" he said frowning "it seems everytime I get close to someone I just lose them, but don't worry, why don't you come live with me and my sister? I don't want you to be homeless, my sister owns out parents big house so you can if you want" he offered "also you never said your name, girlie" he said smiling weakly

I couldn't believe it. He was off flirting. Again. Laci had been right. Hurt fired up inside me, so I just turned around and watched, mean thoughts about the new girl tumbling around my brain. He was acting the same way he had when he had first met me. I took a shaky breath , but kept watching. Stupid me. It took every ounce of energy I took to stay there and not go tackle Rye in a hug. I sighed, sadly and softly. My heart dropped when I heard him say ex. Honestly, I had said it, and I immediately wished I hadn't.

Laci snuck off and went over to where Arizona was hiding "he's just being nice right now, he doesn't like her, maybe as a friend I can read my brother, his eyes filled with sadness when he read the note, he did this to our mom too, when they got close that they told each other everything he distance himself cause he didn't want to keep disappointing her and making her sad when really he wasn't" she whispered

Ryder nodded "sure, so what do you like to do for fun ash?" He asked chuckling, trying to forget everything and looked at her "also I'm 17 and my sisters 15, wherever she went" he chuckled again
