Alex gently brushed her hair out of her face. He watched as some nurses came in.

Ashley sniffed. She wiped her face off and watched him. Her body begging for sleep, food, and water. All she refused. She wasn't going to leave Lucario. Not again. She sighed and nibbled on the sandwich the nurse brought in for her.

She whimpered a few times before crying out in pain, tears streaming down her cheeks

Lucario
He grumbled and opened his eyes slowly. His eyes were bloodshot and he was strapped to the bed

Alex moved out of the nurses way. He was scared, not knowing what was wrong with Alex.

Ashley looked up and smiled, "Luca?" She gently touched his hand.

She cried out again and looked around with fear.

Lucario
He grumbled and cried out in pain as well. He felt tears stream down his cheeks

The nurses worked on calming her down.

Ashley quickly pulled back. She thought she had hurt him. She looked down and put her hand in her lap.

She cried out again and pounded her fist against the bed's side.

Lucario
He roared out in pain.

Nurses
They grew fearful. They rushed Alex and Asley out of the room and said, "We have no clue what is happening to them.... Please stay out here and we'll bring you back in once we calm them down." They hurried back in and closed the door.

Ashley crawled into Alex's lap and started crying.

Alex held her close like he used to when she had her nightmares. He gently stroked her hair and closed his eyes.

The Room
All anyone could hear was yelling and screaming from the nurses. Suddenly it all went quiet, and not a sound was heard. No one said a word inside the room. Anyone could hear a pin drop.

Ashley stiffened when the noise stopped. Suddenly the events caught up to her. Not eating, sleeping or drinking for the past four days. She blacked out. All she could hear was Alex screaming for a doctor...
