He helped her to her feet with a small smile.

He shrugged and said, "I don't surf anymore but I swim a lot! I have a pool in out backyard if you want to come over?"

Meredith shrugged," Ya sure. My mom's out at a movie with her friends for the next 2 hours. I'll go grab my stuff. " Whistling to Splint, he lazily got up and padded over to where I was.
