My eyes grew sympathetic. I hugged him tightly. "You aren't fully responsible, I could've stopped it just as easily. If anything it's both of our faults, not just yours. Don't but the weight of the world on your own shoulders." I kissed his cheek. "Besides, it couldn't be all that bad... maybe a bit tough but not terrible."
