Summer in Paris {CLOSED DUE TO INACTIVITY!}

Katie smiled and nodded. "Yes, he does. He means the whole world to me," she admitted, not afraid of being a now graduated teen that was still highly attatched to her father. "And alright, sounds good. And I do not take that long," the brunette said, scowling playfully and gently punching his arm. Smiling widely, she gave a slight wave before she skipped down the hall a bit to get to her room. Taking out her key, she unlocked the door and walked inside. Her room was very elegant and modern-looking, but still had a unique look to it. To her, it was beautiful. Something right out of a magazine, to be exact. Sighing, she closed her door and immediately got to work on unpacking her suitcases.

Gavin quickly got to unpacking, placing everything into one of the closets as neatly as he could to conserve space. He then picked out a short sleeved grey and orange, thick striped polo and a pair of light brown chinos and changed into them, before falling down onto one of the beds and letting out a puff of air. The sheets were cool and a soothing contrast to the heat of the air. It probably wasn't even that hot, but it certainly felt a lot cooler now that he was in lighter clothes and lying on cold sheets. He grabbed his phone and swiped to unlock, pulling up his contacts and selecting his mum. "Alright, mum?" He grinned down the phone, even though she couldn't see.It was comforting just to hear her voice, even if the last time he'd heard it had only been that morning at the airport. "It's wicked, you'd love it. I'll take tonnes of pictures for you. Yeah, I wish you were here too, you could help me with the unpacking." He paused to let her scold him halfheartedly before deciding he should probably get back to unpacking. "I'll give you a bell later, yeah? Love you too, mum." Maybe it was strange for someone his age to be as close to their mum as he was to his, but that didn't really matter to him. They'd always been really close, and that wasn't going to change with age. As soon as he'd hung up, Gavin reluctantly got off the now slightly warm sheets and went back to unpacking his things. He piled a few books on the bedside table and his tablet on top; placing everything else in the bottom of the closet.

Katie hung up all of her clothes neatly, and put her lounging around clothes in the dresser in her section of the room. It wasn't even like a hotel, actually. It was more like an apartment. So therefore, she technically had her own room. Putting her shoes in her closet on the floor, she closed the door to it. The brunette only took a few more minutes to put away everything. Looking through her clothes, she grabbed a not-so-girly, simple blue dress with a belt on it and a white cardigan, along with a pair of flats. She changed into the clothes quickly, checking her appearance in the mirror. Smiling, she gave a thumbs up after she fixed her hair so it was up in a messy bun. "There. Perfect," Katie said, nodding in approval. Going over to get her phone, she quickly unlocked it and called her father. Almost instantly, he picked up. "Hey! Yes, I'm fine. The plane ride was boring, hut luckily I already made a new friend and it wasn't so bad when I was talking to him. Yes, daddy, it's a guy. Oh dear lord, dad, not right now... I know, I know! Shush up! He's only my friend! Sheesh! Paris is AMAZING! Yeah! Well duh, of course I'll take pictures! Anyways, I have to go meet him, okay? Yeah. I'll call you later. I love you daddy! Bye!" After her conversation with her father, the Australian hung up and smiled widely, putting her phone into one of the pockets of her cardigan. Grabbing her small, nowhere close to being girly purse, she checked to make sure she put her key in it and she had her money and credit card.

Savannah finally hailed a cab, forgetting to speak french. The driver muttered something that was proven to be: "English people.." "Hmmph! Grossier beaucoup?" Savannah said under her breath in irritation. Once she finally got to the hotel, she checked in and went up to her room. "Wow..." she said looking out the window. "Its so beautiful, isn't it Teeny?" she said to the small kitten who was now on her bed. Teeny mewed in response as Savannah giggled.

Once he was done unpacking, Gavin ran a hand through his hair lazily and looked around the hotel room once more before leaving; making sure to pick up his wallet and key first. Hopefully his roommate would be there when he and Katie got back from exploring. He shoved the thought to the side and locked the room door behind him, pocketing the key and making his way back towards Katie's room. He knocked on the door lightly before leaning on the wall opposite. "Told you I'd be out first, Aussie, come on." He grinned, speaking loud enough for her to hear through the door. Whilst he waited for her to come out of her room, Gavin pulled out his phone again and gave out a quiet "yesss" when he saw the little wifi sign at the top. Now he wouldn't have to pay extra data costs at least while he was in the hotel.

Katie whipped the door open a split second after he knocked on her door, grinning. "Ah, yes, you did. But clearly, I'm faster in terms of putting away stuff than most other girls," she said. This was one of her lazy days, so she was also wearing glasses. Actually, whenever it was summertime, she wore her glasses rather than using her contacts. "Anyways, you ready? Oh, and my dad says hi, and if you try anything, he said he'd fly out here to 'kill you.' He's so overprotective..." the brunette said with a sigh, shaking her head and grinning. She loved her father, and thought it was ridiculous that he would say something like that. Butthen of course, he was her father, and it was his job to be ridiculous and embarrass Katie.

"Well, that is true," Gavin admitted, grinning still; although it faltered for a moment before he burst into a fit of laughter. "You can assure your dad I won't be trying anything, I quite like the life I'm living to be honest." He got it, though. His dad would do the same for his little sister if he thought there was a boy involved, and he was kind of glad that boys didn't have to deal with that happening to them. Not that Katie's dad had anything to worry about; he'd never try anything on someone that wasn't okay with it. "So, shall we go?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and gesturing towards the hotel's lift.

Katie grinned and nodded, then ended up giggling quietly as Gavin burst out into a fit of laughter. "Alright, I'll be sure to call him later to assure him - again - that you won't try anything," she said. Looking towards the lift, she nodded and turned her attention towards Gavin again. It was clear that she was instantly excited again, since she quickly closed her door, grabbed his wrist and dragged him down the hallway to the lift.

Gavin let himself be dragged, but not before laughing, "Who there, tiger, we've got all day - literally - what's the rush?" Once they were inside the lift, he leaned against the wall; still trying to compose himself after his laughter fit. "First day in Paris and I've already been threatened by your dad; doesn't this summer look promising?" He snickered, folding his arms across his chest and shaking his head. Well, at least the threat had come through Katie and not direct - this way it was just really funny to him.

Katie stopped once they were inside the lift and looked at Gavin, grinning at him. "So I'm a tiger now, huh? Okay..." she said, shrugging. She giggled and nodded in response. "Yep! This is gonna be one awesome summer," she said, poking Gavin. The brunette realized that she was still holding onto his wrist so she quickly let go and played it off as nothing, since she wasn't used to doing something like that.
