"Cool, do you have family there?" She asked suddenly regretting it as she remembers her own dead family.

" yeah my parents, but im an only child so it gets boring sometimes" he says shrugging

I nod, "Yea my mom and my brother died... I only have my father left." I say feeling as if all the tears in the world were going to spurt out of my eyes in seconds.

" oh... Im sorry, i shouldnt have asked..." I say sadly

I quickly suck it up. "It's alright." I say smiling. "So do you have any pets?" I say changing the subject.

" no, i lost my last dog a year ago" i say shrugging
" how about you?" He asks

"I'm sorry, I also have a dead cat." I say.

" hey maybe they are playing together right now" he joked
