He turned to the new girl and smiled. "Hey there, I'm Dylan." He outstretched his hand for her to shake. He turned to look at Cinder, "Maybe we can show her to her room also." He turned back to the girl when she asked a question. "I don't think Ms.Darla will mind if you settle in first."

"Hey Dylan, I'm Alex. It's nice to meet you." Alex replied before outreaching her arm as well, shaking his hand in a friendly greeting. She then turned her attention back to the Ms. Darla situation and added "Okay, sounds good. Thank you guys. Knowing me, I'd probably end up getting lost in the rooms." Alex said, laughing lightly. She loosened up a bit, a quirky smile stretched across her porcelain face.

"It's nice to meet you Alex," he said a grin on his face. "Shall we go now Cinder? I'm pretty sure Alex has had a hectic day and you're probably freezing." He reached for her luggage but before grabbing it he looked up at her. "May I help you?"

[center]I sit on my bed in the small room and pick up my guitar. The one thing besides some clothes and a few small things that I grabbed out of my house before I came here three years ago. I started playing a few notes of a random song then put it down and sighed. I looked at the window and watched a few cars go by, one pulling out of the orphanage parking lot, and wonderful if anyone new got here. I stand and exit my room quietly. I walked down the hall, looking around for anyone I didn't recognize.

Rae
Rae opened her door as her adoption agent or whatever they are called these days hurried her. She grabbed what little stuff she did own and was allowed and watched as the car that brought her here left rudely and unthoughtfully. She sighed and looked down and her bags, she had her guitar case, a large backpack and a suitcase. She looked around, lost and confused bit knowing about anything. She but her lip and just stood there , she probably looked like an idiot, but she hadn't had the best of days...she wore jeans and a pliant short and her hair was in a messy bun.

"Yeah, go for it." Alex said as she handed him the suitcase. "Thank you." She decided it was best to carry her backpack herself, as it held the items that she truly cared about. All the items that she valued and were much more dear and good to her than any person had ever been. "Lead the way." Alex said, unsure where to head to next.

[Serenity.]

Cinder nodded to Alex then bit her lip instinctively, she wasn't really good around new people, any people. "Well, follow me. There happens to be an open bedroom next to mine." She said, her tone not showing anything. She scaled the stairs and waked to a door and opened it to see it was empty. "You could sleep in here, I mean, it's quite small. All of the rooms look the same and they're all small." She explained. "Welcome to h*ll- I mean the orphanage." She corrected herself quickly, clamping a hand over her mouth. "I am very sorry, I'm just not in the best mood at the time, so excuse my language. I'm new here also, and if you need me or Dylan, we'll be in the room on the right of yours looking for my sweater..." She said, her bright green eyes trailing down to her arm, staring at the scar she had gotten when she was thirteen, when her uncle pulled a knife on her. She closed her eyes tightly and shook her head at the memory. She looked up and forced a fake smile.
