"See you later Alex," with that he set her luggage down by the door and walked towards Cinder. "Shall we go?" He said mimicking a British accent. He'd probably failed but maybe her could've gotten Cinder to laugh at him. She seemed too serious.

[Serenity.]

Cinder looked up at him and smiled, chuckling slightly. "Yes, we shall." She answered, imitating his tone and laughing a bit. She brushed some of her red hair out of her face and walked towards the stairs. "Maybe we should stick to our normal voices. We sound horrid trying to be British." She said, even though she had a hint of an accent herself, she never considered it an accent, she just acknowledged it as a way she spoke.

Dylan chuckled at her attempt even though it sounded almost perfect. "I'll leave the accent to you Cinder, you sound like you're actually British!" He smiled and turned to her as he ascended the stairs. "So moving on to the sweater, last time you saw it was...?"

[Serenity.]

Cinder kept on smiling, deciding to take his remark of her sounding British as a compliment. "Sweater..." She muttered to herself when he asked the question. "Last time I saw it was last night, and me being crazy as I am decided that when I came to the orphanage to only pack one sweater." She said rolling her eyes at her own stupidity. She got to her room and opened the door. She cringed slightly at the sight of the smallness of the room, still not used to it. The room wasn't even as messy as she described it, it was actually quite clean, except for her guitar case lying open on the ground and some clothes scattered in a corner it was fine. "I had it on last night, and I remember placing it on top of the dresser... But it's gone now. I'm quite forgetful and disorganized sometimes, sorry for the mess." She said looking up at the taller boy.

"Quite alright, my room is much messier anyways." He looked though the pile of clothes in the corner. "What does your sweater look like anyways?" He asked as he looked through the pile and folded the clothes neatly at his side.

[Serenity.]

Cinder shrugged a bit and walked over to the window and opened it, she had removed the screen so it was full out open, and you could jump out if you were stupid enough to. She placed her guitar in it's case and thought for a second. "It's all black, it's missing a string actually on the hood and it has a zippier that is dark blue." She explained.

He nodded, "Well it isn't in the pile of clothes in corner, but I folded all the clothes." He placed the neatly folded clothes on her bed. "Maybe it's under the bed?" He lay down on the floor and looked under the bed. "Is it this?" he dragged the lump of cloth out from under the bed and handed it to Cinder.

Cinder took the fabric out of his hand and examined it. She smiled a bit when she noticed it was her sweater. "Yes! Thanks." She said, grinning happily. She shook it out a it before putting it on, it was way too big on her, and she was aware of that, but it made her look nice so she didn't care how big it was, and it was comfy. "Thank you." She repeated again with a laugh and walked over to the wide open window, leaning out a bit. She looked around, realizing she could die at any minute if she fell, but she enjoyed the view.

"No problem," he said smiling. He was glad that he had found her sweater. "Do you want to hang out or something? It's been awhile since I've done something fun and you seem to be fun." He also looked out the window examining the empty barren land. "Wouldn't it be great to have an actual family?" He whispered softly.

[Serenity.]

"Yes, we need to do something exciting, because it's quite boring in here." Cinder said with a smile. She jumped ever so slightly, taken off guard by his sudden change in subject and tone of voice. "Family?" She trailed off, her eyes becoming clouded and distant as she started to remember things that had happened at her uncles house, her uncle, the man she lived with, the man who killed the only person she loved. She shook her head quickly to rid the thought of her mind, her eyes close tightly. She took in a shaky breath and opened her eyes once more, gazing at Dylan for a long moment. "From what I've lived through, I'm not too fond of the family thing. I mean... The only family I knew are either dead or cruel." She said vaguely, her bright green eyes travelling to the ground. "I don't know, I'm just afraid of trusting people now." Her voice dropped into a whisper.
