Austin called Lark into his room as he looked at Jacob on the screen.

Christina made a sympathetic look, sensing the guy really has been through a lot. Even if they had just met. "Sorry, not much I can do about it. She said, glancing down as well. She felt kind of guilty not being able to say more, but she was blinded by flashbacks from middle school. To her, it was just as bad.

Christina put a hand on his shoulder. "Thankfully, we both have some time left. Of course, I'm only a freshman, but there's got to be a way to get some good times out of here." She suggested, though on the inside, was frustrated. Seeing people give up so easily in school was truly irritating.
