Lexa Pines .
Lexa had gotten bored in her apartment, not having been out of it for a few days. She hadn't had to get out of it so she just stayed in it, though now she felt like she should've gone out even if she didn't have to. So she pulled on her leather jacket and put on her ankle boots before walking out of her apartment, soon after that leaving the building and walking through the parking lot and out onto the street. Not knowing where she would go, she randomly decided on the local coffee shop. She did like coffee, she just wasn't one of those people who needed it every so often, she just simply wanted it from time to time. So she started walking towards it, she hadn't been there in a long time but she was pretty sure that she remembered where it was. It took about five minutes to get there, and when she did she walked up to the small line in front of the front counter. When it was her turn she simply ordered an ice cap, after getting it walking over and sitting down at one of the chairs and tables along the sides of the shop.

I QUIETLY SHUFFLED through my rather large house, my hazel eyes contacting over the furniture as I was on the hunt of my studded combat boots. Why were they so hard to find? Skidding along the hard-wood floors, I spotted the black leather boots sitting under my rectangle coffee table. Leaping over my couch and literally landing almost face first into the ground (Which might have broken my nose and my jaw.) but skillfully used to slight parkour skills to roll on my shoulder and towards the studded combat boots. Throwing them on and zipping the sides up, I stood and straightened the black t-shirt with the homestuck sburb symbol that went just a little bit below my waist and onto my grey torn skinny jeans.

The coffee shop was within sight. Walking quickly the last few feet, Tyson was soon at the door. Opening the door he stepped inside and looked around. There were a few people there other then the employees. Some of them looked like they went to the same school. It was possible since summer did just let out and not all families left for vacations right away.
Walking over to the counter he ordered a small coffee and waited. It was done within a minute or two. Since there was no other people in line they must just want to finish the order then relax. With coffee in his hand he walked over to a table where one of the girls was sitting. "Do I know you from school?" he asked. If she answered no then he would just look like a fool.

Lexa had been sitting at the table for a few minutes, just sipping her ice cap while watching everything though the window. She was seated at the table right beside the window, like she always tried to be. She just enjoyed watching out windows, she did it often at her apartment as well. As someone that she thought that she kinda recognized came up to her and asked if he knew her from school or something, she gave him a small smile and nodded. "Yeah, I think so" she then said in agreement that she recognized him as well. She didn't know his name or anything, she had just seen him around a few times before. She knew that he would probably recognize her even if they had only seen each other a few times before, she was kinda hard to forget having pink hair and all.

Right away Tyson took a seat across from her. It was a bit rude since he did not ask if anyone else was sitting there. Maybe since she was alone when he walked in that meant that there was no one else. "I think you were in my English class, not sure though. You may have also been in my history class". Trying to recall who was in his classes was not an easy task. For most of the year he only talked to his friends in the class or the people who sat around him. Everyone else in the room was pretty much forgotten about. Of course a girl with pink hair was hard to forget, even if you never talked to her. Then again there were a few people who had their hair dyed a different color. For all he knew that girl in his English class could have had green hair, not pink.

Vern nodded and muttered his thanks, knowing his name was a little different. He mentally thanked his parents everyday that it was easy to spell and the fact that there was no one else ever in school with the same name as him. Then again, the teachers never forgot his name it seemed like, and he couldn't ever get into much trouble without getting caught. "I like the beach at times," he replied, thinking it over, though he was probably putting too much thought into it even. "I usually just go there to swim," he added as an afterthought. "What about you?" He said, wanting to honestly know more about her.
