Alex shut the cupboard after returning her snack. She turned and starting running up the stairs. During her mid-session sprint up the carpeted stairs because she felt like a demon was behind her and about to pull her down by her hair, her phone vibrated and to be honest it scared her a little. She screeched and ran up the rest of the way. Pulling her phone out of her jeans, Alexandria sighed because she imagined what it was about to say. Her mom ranting about how she 'needed to get out of the house'. But she was wrong. The camping trip! She thought. She opened her door and pulled out a bag. How could she have forgotten? She packed several pairs of clothes, but she felt like she was missing something. Spider repellant, perhaps? If only that were actually an invention. The suit-case wouldn't close, so like any other rational person would do, she sat on it. 'okay, when are we gonna leave?' she texted back. Group chats always annoyed her, because she was constantly getting messages. Alex didn't really want to go, but it was for Hawthorne. He was her friend, right? She would do anything for a friend. But she wouldn't be the only one there, so it didn't bother her too much.
