Jackson smiled as she took out some of the best guys on the team. He checked some more things, then the phone call came. He reached for his phone and the lady spoke. She might have said more, but 'I'm sorry' rolled around in his brain. His whole world came crashing in on top of him, and he couldn't hear or move. It was like he was living in a different dimension. He handed the computer to the other kid who was helping him and ran as fast as he could(Which was pretty fast because he played rugby) Home. Once he got there, he saw his father sobbing and his sister shaking. He couldn't take this. He dropped his phone and the screen shattered. The house was engulfed in flames, and they were carrying his mothers body. He just noticed that his father and sister sat on stretchers. His father was drifting away, and his sister, passed out from pain. He collapsed in sobs.
I know why
the caged bird sings.
A caged bird stands
on a grave of dreams,
his shadow shouts on
a night mares scream.
We think the caged bird sings,
when indeed, he cries.
The song of a bird,
can never be caged.
