Vern woke up a little early, grinning to himself. Literally jumping out of bed he pulled on a t-shirt and bounded into the kitchen, wondering if because of her jet lag if Sarah would wake up this early. "Seven... Should have time." Plugging in the waffle iron he started mixing up some batter from scratch and cutting up some strawberries, looking around for milk, groaning when he realized he had none. Orange juice, however, he did have. Fist pumping, he went back to the waffles and started pouring them into the machine.

Sarah woke up in a haze. She rolled over and saw the sun hitting her face. "Mmmmmmm...what time is it...?" she asked softly. When she checked her phone, it read 7:01. She sighed, glad she didn't wake up when she normally did, because that would be three o' clock in the morning here. She smiled, and got up, stretching her arms over her head.

Vern scraped the waffles out of the maker carefully, remembering the mess was usually one reason why he didn't make waffles. Plopping them on a plate quickly, he let out a soft yelp when his hand came into contact with the hot waffle iron. He washed his hands with cold water really fast and sat some strawberries and waffles on a plate prettily, getting out butter and syrup. "Thank goodness waffles cook really quick," he said, pouring in the next batch and getting out the orange juice.

Sarah heard a yelp and turned towards the noise instinctively. She got up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she walked out of her room. "Vern? You alright?" she asked softly. She attempted to fix her hair a little so she didn't look like some sort of monster when she saw him.

Vern jumped when he heard Sarah's voice behind him, though he didn't respond for a minute. Gosh she looks cute when she wakes up. "I... Um... Yeah. Yeah I'm good. Waffles... The Waffles.... Just... Here," he said, handing her a plate, pouring her a glass of orange juice. "Hope you like waffles?" He smiled, knowing if all else failed leftover pie was good too. Not healthy, perhaps, but good.

Sarah smiled and took the plate. "This is one food I do know about." she giggled, and looked around. "so, where do we eat?" she asked. Her eyes were still dull because she was in the process of waking up still.

History:
Me and my father were really close, closer then my mother. But one night when I was "sleeping" my parents had a big fight and I didn't know if we can get though.After fighting for may months over the smallest things dad left and we had to live with our mother but look after us was to hard by herself so she started to drink and go out all night.When I was 15 moved out with when to live with our grandparents. But after a few years my grandpa and grandma,they died in our home and when I called mum she came. When the funeral came Mum came with her sister but dad came with another women with him. I have never really gotten close to others, also just because I am nice doesn't mean I trust you fully.
