"I can take it home, sure. But I'm going to need you to help finish it." Sarah said. She enjoyed spending time with Vern, and that was a great excuse to. She smiled, and thought about it for a minute. "Hmmm...is there a park in this town?" she asked. If they could go to the park, that could probably even it out.

"sounds good to me." Vern grinned at the thought of even more pie with Sarah. "And actually I think there's one that away." He waved his hand around though wasn't sure where he was pointing at all. He sighed at his terrible sense in direction. "Yeah the walk to find it will be good for us," he said with a small laugh.

Sarah giggled. "I'm sure. We definitely need it...wait, how am I gunna take it home? I don't even really have my own place to stay!" she said nervously. If she brought it back to where she was staying, Grant would eat the entire rest of it. She sighed. "My friend, the one who you saw before, has been giving me a room to sleep in. He lives in an apartment, and I'm sure he'd eat the rest of the pie." she explained. Oh crap, I bet the way I explained it makes it sound like we moved in together...ah, man! She watched him with worried eyes, hoping he wouldn't react the way she thought he would.

Vern's face fell just a little, but he tried to hide it. He decided asking straightforwardly would be best for the both if them. "There is nothing between you to, other than just... Friends, right? I don't want to be messing in any place I shouldn't have." He looked at her, hoping with all his might that she answered yes. He looked down at the pie and back at her.

"Oh yeah no, we're just friends, promise." Sarah said, relieved he wasn't storming out on her. "He's more like a brother to me than anything else." she clarified. She released a breath of relief she didn't even know she was holding.

Vern's smile returned. "Oh, and if you ever need a place to stay, I have a spare bedroom at my house. I do live alone, but I promise I'll stay on my side of the house," he said with a small grin. It was probably too soon to be offering to let her stay over, but he couldn't really bring himself to care. As much as he was relived that the other guy was nothing more than a close friend, he knew how quickly things could change and he didn't like the thought of losing Sarah before he even really had her. "And I hate to be this way, but it'll be really tempting on me too, so if I take it home don't be totally offended if there is... Less pie left."

I then took her off my shoulders and into my arms as i started to walk into the deeper end, so we both wouldn't drown, then hearing a huge bang "FIREWORKS!" i shout, i then carry her out the water and into a bench, getting a perfect view of the fireworks

Lexa giggled as he carried her out of the water and shouted about the fireworks, finding it funny how he got so excited over them.
