Waiting for the two to decide on their song, he decided to write more. He took out his notebook and a pen and wrote more in the journal.

It has been about an hour, or so it feels like, since I last wrote. The two I was talking with earlier are amazing, and they have a great interest in music. I wish I had a greater taste for music to understand the songs that they mention and sing. Whiskers is afraid of the dogs, and I don't blame her. Once I find a safe place for her I'll make sure she has a good night's sleep, enough to satisfy my precious queen.

He waved a hand. "Right right, of course not." He said then thought a moment. "Um, I think the only one I've memorized the lyrics to is Demons, oh, do you know that one song by OneRepublic? Oh what's it called.." He blanked out on the name.

Alexis managed a small smile, "Thanks, that's reasurring." She said, but instead of how other people normally say that she sounded extreamly greatfull. She pulled away from the hug, running a hand through her hair. Letting her hair fall over her one eye, sucessfully covering the streaks that the tears had left down her face.

Alexis raised her eyebrows at the mention of ice cream, a small smile played on her lips. "Ice cream?" She asked lightly, leaning back against the wall like always. She hasn't had ice cream for a while, as in a couple years. Not since her mother died.

Lulke nodded "ice cream emergency"_ he said, and got up. He went into the small kitchen and grabbed a cup and put some ice cream in it, he stuck a spoon in it then gave it to her with a slight smile.

Alexis laughed as he handed her the ice cream, but the laugh wasn't really genuine. It wasn't her normal laugh. She took a spoonful, eating it. Looking away from the ice cream in her hands to the boy who was doing this to help her, "Thanks, for everything. I've only had one person that I've felt like I could trust before you. And she's dead." She said with a sigh, her eyes a dull brown colour.
