"I just got here today, my brother has been living here and I just graduated, so I decided to come here." I smiled and looked around taking in the sights. I loved other countries more than I loved my own home in California, I traveled more than my older brother, he was a person who went somewhere and stayed there.

ari picked up his pace as saxa bounded ahead of him. he wasn't exactly sure where he was headed, since he was in a part of the city he didn't recognize. cars honked in the streets, and people spoke french all around him. he'd studied the language a bit, enough to know the basics, but he wasn't that good.

I get back in my car ad start it up, I head towards my apartment building (same as Ellie's) as soon as I get there I slam the door shut and walk angrily back to my apartment. While walking I accidentally bump into a blonde girl (Ellie) and embaressed, my cheeks burning a shade of red I get up and offer her a hand "Sorry, I didn't see you there. I'm Olivia" I say politely trying hard to push down all the anger within my chest.

Ellie walked over to her fridge to find nothing worth eating inside. She sighed deeply, shaking her head and grabbing the door key to go buy some things from the shop. She wrapped her fingers around her small bag strap and wrenched the door open. She wiped her forehead with her spare hand, but then ran into something. She looked up to see it was a girl, to which she slightly grumbled but kept a smile upon her face. "That's uh, that's fine. It was my fault." She told her, nodding. "My name is Ellie."

I think upon what just happened "wait you live here?" I ask here, Her door was right next to mine, but I never noticed she was my neighbor. "I used to live next to some big huge dude that lifted a lot of weights" I say thinking back to when I had needed a broom and walked over to ask for one and he just screamed at me to get off his grass soon after I pointed out he had no grass and he then called me some words my mother would not want me to say. I stutter. "What??"
