The guy nervously looked around after she presented herself and said he was cute. Normally he would be sweet and gentle, and just say thanks, you too or something but this time he completely froze. He remembered years ago of people being nice to him and stabbing his back. Jake got even more nervous and he uncomfortably shifted his weigh from one foot to the other. Thinking of something he could say to run away... "Um, I have to go to class." Jake said fast and then entered the building and then the bathrooms. He didn't know how he found them, he just did. He leaned his back on a wall and started to breath normally again. he hoped not everyone here was like that. Jake slowly walked towards his locker. Most people were taller than he was. That made him nervous, too. He slipped into the social studies class to the last row on the back, and doodled around the desk.

Sometimes Emilia's mom could be overprotective and sometimes simply annoying. She had been excused from Social Studies class cause her mother was calling, and she couldn't stand the tenth call in that day. She walked over the ice skating rink and watched the girls do their jumps and stuff. "Mamá, estoy bien, déjame que tengo que volver a la clase! (Mom, I'm okay, leave me alone I have to return to class!)" Emilia half yelled but her tone wasn't that loud. She didn't want to desconcentrate the girls figure skating.
