She was in front of Gold Medal High, the school where she would train field hockey and would probably go to the Olympics and stuff. She desired it with all her soul. By now, the only thing the young girl could do was walk to the steps in front of the school where small groups of people were talking and laughing. She stood there, lost.

It was hard to concentrate on running if it was the first day of school. Swearing under his breath after tripping over a rock, Jake walked towards the steps where the people were grouping, talking and teasing each other. he had never been good socializing with people, part of it because he was an orphan and part of it because of his trust issues.
