"oh then, i guess i can stick around for a bit. if i'm going to stay here a whole summer, might as well make some friends, right?" she gave a goofy grin to him, then went to his side. "soo.. uh, do you play any sports?" she questioned, trying to bring up a conversation

"Oh, uh, okay." Raymond hesitantly took out his guitar. He cleared his throat before beginning to play You Are So Beautiful by Escape The Fate.

As I listen to Raymond, I have an idea. I turn to a fresh page in my journal and start drawing him playing the guitar. I'll have to show him later. Suddenly I feel drawn to sing. But nobody has heard me sing before. I give up and softly start singing, growing slightly louder by the minute.

Damien shrugged slightly, "Football, and basketball, and hockey.." he replied simply. He ran a hand through his hair and looked down at her.

Raye looked at her as she began singing. He closed his eyes again and kept singing and playing.

"oh, i watch football sometimes. my favorite team is the Steelers, but i've only seen them play a few times. the one team i dislike is the raide-" then her phone buzzed to the sound when mario {in mario bros of course} grabs a coin. "err-,i got a text. hold on..." she blushed. how awkward. she passed through the password and it automatically sent her to the text message. it was from her mom,
Mom; Hello, Sweetie~ How is it over there?
Kat; Well, I'm with this guy, and I really have to go, sooo, bye?
Mom; What? Is this guy your boyfriend? Oh, I cant wait to meet him!
Kat; No. Stop. Bye.

she blushed even harder at the thought. She only just met him, why would her mom think it was her boyfriend? Well whatever. He didn't see it {or did he?}, hopefully, so she made her way to one of the rooms. "Uh, why dont we check these rooms around here? They look nice..

I kept singing, growing stronger. For the first time ever, I didn't care who heard me. I didn't care what people said. I was free. I started smiling. I kept drawing Raymond in my journal. For some reason, I felt comfortable around him, not as stiff and shy.

Damien nodded; he was about to speak before her phone buzzed. He clenched his jaw, blinking a few times, and looked away, fiddling with his hands. He only looked up when she spoke again, "Oh, yeah, okay. C'mon then." He began walking to the stairs.

he walked ahead, so she was behind him. she walked up the stairs, and once they were finally up, she looked around. "is.. is that a fountain over there?" she asked, walking up to it. then she noticed the rooms. "wow! i love those rooms!" kat walked into the room, noticing there was a bunk bed. "oh, it must be for two people. maybe this room will have one.." nope. a bed bunk. then she looked in the room next to it, and sure enough, a bunk bed. "i guess all the rooms are for two people. that's not safe, considering we all just met each other." she thought aloud, heading the the first room she went in. "um, d-damien?" she stuttered, trying to make it sound the non-perviest way possible. "uh, i know i just met you, but you're the only person i don't feel weird around,so,uhh, do you, want to be my roommate or something?" whoaaa slow down. yep, her face way already a tomato. dang that was a lot of courage she built

Damien followed her to one of the rooms, looking inside. He blinked and looked in a few other rooms. They were all the same. He furrowed his brows when she called his name, and slowly began walking to the room Kat was in. "Roommate...? Uh.. I guess."
