I took a plate of fish and some macoroni and waited for everybody to sit down before I began to eat.

I ate my dinner silently, not knowing how to start a conversation.

I shook my head. "I'd rather not." I said, my head down as I let go of the towel and looked around.. "I need new clothes." I said quietly.

I nodded. "Ok, thats fine." I stood up and held out my hand. "There's an American Eagle in 10 minutes from here. We can go there, if you like." I asked, nervously.

" So Ellen how long have you lived here for? " There father asked as he took a bit of fish.

Danny took a bite of macaroni and glanced over at Jason.

I shook my head. "I'll go back to mine.. with you of course." I said with a soft smile and took her hand in mine as my house was next door to hers. I unlocked the door myself as my mums car wasn't here.

I smiled as he led me to his house. "Bye Danny," I whispered, drawing in close. I hugged him smiling. "See you tomorrow!" I did a little wave.
