Emily gently took him over to her family who loved him. They greeted him graciously. Emily ran inside and got on stage singing her heart out.

Alex smiled and talked with her family, then when she began to sing he fell silent and listened intently

Emily smiled brightly when she finished and walked off stage. She went and wrapped her arms around Alex gently kissing his lips before blushing and looking at her family.

Alex blushed lightly and looked mainly at her mother and father, it was their choice if this was ok or not. if he saw that they were not happy he would back off, besides her dad looked pretty scary

Emily smiled and laced their fingers together." Are you ok?" He whispered

Alex nodded and looked back at her "yea I'm fine, its just that I don't want to get your parents mad about us kissing, to be honest your dad looks bigger than Arnold Shwartzenegger..." he lowered to a whisper "it's kinda scary"

Emily sighed."no it's fine babe. It's not like we were making out."she said softly with a shrug

Alex nodded "true, but still..." he scratched his head "I don't know I"m just, respectful; if your dad pernet get mad I don't want to make it any worse for us, just my way of protecting you I guess"

Emily nodded and kissed his cheek."ok. I swear he likes you."she whispered in his ear. After a minute he dad approached them. He had been in the army for a while but just recently retired. "Hi..I'm Mr. Johnson. You can call me Logan if you want."he said with a shrug as he held out his hand.
