Emily smiled brightly as she walked through the halls in her brand new outfit. She was wearing a pretty shirt and ripped jeans and they looked really good on her. She leaned against her locker and looked around winking at the guys that passed by.

"Um so.. what grade are you in...?" Lukas asked awkwardly, trying to bring up a conversation, or something.

Winter smiled at him. " I'm a sophomore. And you? " She asked Lukas. Winter ran her fingers through her long light brown hair as she waited for Lukas to answer.

"Oh, Im a sophomore too," Lukas replied, giving a half smile. He felt nervous, looking into her eyes, so he tried distracting himself by looking at her hair.

Winter shyly smiled back and noticed he was looking at her and she started to blush a little. She pulled out her phone to distract herself and noticed it was 2:21pm. She squeezed her phone in her hand to try to be distracted and not be as nervous around Lukas.
