I sighed as I sat on the steps my music full blast in my ears. "Now hush little baby, Don't you cry.. Everything's gonna be alright.." I sing softly before burying my head in my knees.

Cameron sighed, and got dressed in her normal clothes. She grabbed her skateboard, and opened her door. She saw a boy standing around at her door. She adjusted her beanie, tilting her head at him.

I was gonna hurry and run away so this girl wouldn't think I was a creep but the sound of a door opening made me stop in my tracks. I turned around and she introduced herself "Hey Cameron, I'm Koda" I said to her. Then she asked me if I skated "I haven't ridden in a while" I told her truthfully with a small chuckle

"Great to meet you Koda. I was just about to go on a ride..would you..uh..like to come? I have an extra skateboard if you'd like to come. " She smiled a wide, pretty smile, her eyes glittering with excitemnt.

I wasn't very sociable but how could I say no to this girl. It seemed like she already had a bad day "Yeah sure I'll go" I replied with a smile that almost looked like a smirk
