- levi o'brien
- Levi mumbled a little as he rolled over in his bed, pulling his phone out from under his pillow. He looked at the time. Levi had only gotten an hour of sleep and was going to be late for school as it was. He cursed under his breath. "Really regretting that..." he moaned and somehow managed to get his body out of bed. The night, or that morning, he had played halo and call of duty up until he finally decided to get the single hour of sleep he put in. Levi walked slowly towards the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He had serious bed head. Another moan escaped his lips and he jumped in the shower.
He got dressed in some blue jeans and a green t-shirt. Walking out of the bathroom he grabbed his books and put them in his backpack, putting that over both his shoulders and getting his converse on as he walked towards the front door. Luckily the kid lived across from the school, so he wouldn't be too late. Levi yawned softly and quickly walked across the street. He stepped foot inside the doors and kept his head down, avoiding anyone who looked like they might be in a mood to get after him.
Levi successfully made it to his locker where he put his back pack in side and grabbed a few books. He was pushing time, but he knew he could make it to his first class. He slipped in and went to the only available seat in the government class, right as the bell went off for the start of the day. He took a deep sigh of relief that he had just barely made it.
- thane rogers
- Thane moaned as he looked out the window beside his home's from door. He never liked driving to school, mostly because he had to drive his sisters too. They were freshmen and sophomores this year. It wasn't that he didn't like his sisters, he just hated cramming them into his tiny truck. Once they were both ready Thane grabbed his keys from the small table beside the door and he walked out to throw his backpack into the bed of the truck. He yawned a little and looked over to the door and saw them both hurrying towards his little red Toyota. He laughed a little and then walked over to the drivers side and unlocked his door. The small single cab space was barely enough for two, even though it had three seat belts it was a tight squeeze. It was just lucky he had small sisters.
Thane reached over to the passengers side and unlocked the door for Rachel and Carley and then he started the '91 stick shift. Once both the girls were in the truck he put it into reveres and backed out of the drive way. Thane drove to the school like normal, feeling claustrophobic and not being able to see much of anything. Eventually though he arrived to the parking lot and he parked the truck and got out, making sure he locked his door. It was one of his pet peeves to not lock car doors. Once He got his backpack from the bed of the truck he walked up to the building of people. A small smile on his face.
Thane walked through the halls of the school building, his backpack on one of his shoulders. He smiled warmly as he saw some of his teammates walking beside him and they high-fived as they passed in the hallways, making quick idle comments as Thane went to his locker. When Thane finally arrived to locker number 245 he put on a straight like face as he moved his fingers along the dial of the lock. He fiddled his fingers a little and then finally unlatched the the metal chamber that held most of his things for school. Once Thane had his backpack off his shoulders and in the locker he grabbed a pencil and his History things and then closed the locker door.
The brown headed jock turned his body towards the History room and had his previous smile on his face again. Thane let his things rest beside his leg, holding them in his hands loosely. He continued to let his feet carry him towards the door of the History class and he walked through the door and looked at the other kids sitting in the room with their things. He shrugged a little and went towards the middle of the room and sat down in an empty desk.
- blake sandow
- Blake grumbled a little as he stared blankly at his ceiling. His sheets were barely over him and he was sweating form the heat of the night. His sister and mother were both cold-blooded. They had the house and eighty degrees at night and he couldn't do anything about it. If he left his window open to keep himself cool, they would yell at him and close the window. If he brought in a fan, it would get it's fan like emotions smashed into tiny little bits of emptiness. Blake never slept well because of the two women in the house; you would think he would get used to it, but no, he never did.
He mumbled and then reached for his phone which was happily resting it's little head under his pillow. When he saw the time he remembered it was a school day and he had to leave in twenty minutes. "Oh fruit juice." he quickly snorted out of his mouth and kicked the mess of thin sheets off his body and ran into the bathroom, banking the turns with his socks and the hardwood floor. Within seconds of looking at his phone, Blake was in the shower and quickly cleaning himself off.
Once he was out of the shower he scurried into his bedroom, a towel around his body, and then grabbed a pair of blue jeans and put them on followed by a navy blue shirt and jacket. Right as he got his shirt on he went for his phone and saw no new text messages so he pulled up one of his friends numbers and start typing a message. 'Well good morning! Today's forecast is... Uh... A forecast. There are guessed to be aunts in the school food today which consists of broccoli and rotted mystery meat. Have a nice day, and remember, be bubbly.'
A text message like this wasn't uncommon to receive from Blake, and he had sent it to Isabella. She was probably the one person who knew him the best at the school or in his own home, they had, after all, been friends since grade school. With a yawn he grabbed his wallet and keys and went to his car and drove off to school, the place he was most certain would kill him in the near future.
[ pardon any mistakes. Editing them is a tad annoying on my iPad. ]
