"She will be fine."he smiled half comforting Brock and half himself. He sighed. He wondered where Riot was.

Brock sighed and propped his chin up on his hands, furrowing his brows. He clenched his jaws and closed his eyes for a brief moment.

Riot sat on the steps of the infirmary.

"Hey Riot!"he smiled. He sat on a chair next to Madison's bed. He patted the chair next to him while looking at Riot.

Riot glanced back at Lucas and stood up. She sighed and sat down next to him, looking up at him and smiling.

He looked at Madison. He sighed. He felt her forehead. It was still hot. "Hope you feel better sis."he whispered into her ear. He started tearing up. He tried not to cry especially not in front of Riot or Brock. He turned his head and rubbed his eyes. He would never forgive himself if she died. He had promised his mother and failed her.

"It's okay," Riot wrapped her arms around Lucas and rested her head against his side, sighing quietly.

"What if she dies?"he asked himself half Riot. He leaned closer to her. "I would never forgive myself."he mumbled. Tears poured down. He closed his eyes for a moment.
