Anyways, unless you're a spy for the cops or going to call 911, you can come on in. It's warmer inside."

You hated school, and law enforcement, and the cops. So you just left your life and started a new one on the streets. The cool thing is, you met this girl who introduced you to a secret world. No, it's not magical or too amazing. But it's a huge place hidden from the cops and hidden from radar. It's called the Dugout. Down there they have heat, running water and electricity. Plus food! It's literally a paradise for street people like yourself. The catch? You must be a working part of the colony.

So now you're either with them, the cops, therefore a threat to the group, or you're part of the colonists. Choose your fate carefully. Once a Loner, colonists will not easily accept you again.

.: The Jobs :.
These are just explanations of the roles in the Colony
:: The Leader ::
It's a little self explanatory here. The leader watches out for the whole Colony, making sure everything is going smoothly and everybody is safe. She is the one who welcomes the new members into the group and helps them to settle in, all that. Overall, she is the leader of the Dugout, organizing the watch patrols and scavenge parties. On some occasions, she even goes with them to get out a little bit.
:: The Second ::
They are sort of like a Beta to the leader, always making sure jobs are getting done and people are behaving. They know how to fight, just in case they need to break something up between colonists on a rare occasion. A lot of times the Second goes on scavenges to help look for useful material. But mostly, they are second in command and should be respected.
:: Weapon Specialist ::
This person is the one with all the fire power. Literally. They create makeshift weapons out of thing the scavengers find, as well as keep stolen ones stored safely. They are very clever, even maybe a bit nerdy about their job. Normally you can find them in their workshop making weapons to use against their enemies.
:: Weapon Assistant ::
Is just a helper to the Specialist. They normally go on scavenges to collect certain items for their master.
:: Scavengers ::
These are like the little rats of the Colony. They go out into the world and look for useful items to bring back to the Dugout. These items can include food, bottled water, every once and a while money, and carts to carry stuff with. They must be quick in order to run from the cops or anybody else wanting to catch them in the act. The leader basically just lead the team.
:: Patrol ::
Stands near the entrance of the Dugout, making sure no sneaky kid finds their way into their home. They walk around the block, looking out for the cops or any other gangs. Gangs are a major threat to the Dugout, so the patrol is very important.

- Please write at least four detailed sentences. This is semi, semi-literate. We are not little children. Use proper grammar! I don't want anything too extravagant, but I would like to see detail! I love detail!!
- There may be couples, but don't make the whole RP about love
- Keep genders even. For ever male, make a female. I don't have a limit to have many character you have, just make sure you can keep up with them all.
- No godmodding, powerplaying or double posting.
- Your character must have flaws! You aren't perfect, and neither are these kids!
- I don't mind you chatting in OCC, but please use brackets ({[Like this!]})
- I also don't mind advertising, but don't make a big deal about it please.
- I will add a lot of twists and drama, so you don't have to!(:

.: The Town Around Us :.

North Side :: This side is also called Downtown. It has a few skyscrapers, a lot of chain restaurants as well as rich neighborhoods surrounding the Downtown. But with all the busy people, there are also a lot of cops on the look out for the Colony kids. When scavenging here, groups need to be very careful about what they do and who they talk to.

South Side :: This is mainly the business side of town, with all the insurance, finance and "important" things like that. There are some higher class neighborhoods planted there. Cops are high here as well, but as scavenging goes, this isn't the best place.

East Side :: This is where all the shopping takes place. There are a lot of clothing stores, two large malls, an animal shelter, ice cream parlors, hair salons, all that jazz is located here. Cops are not a main concern, but the threat always lingers. The East side is probably the best place to hunt for supplies, and all your beauty needs can be met. If you can find the money.

West Side :: The more residential side to town. Most of the neighborhoods and small businesses are located here, making it a nice family living space. Too bad we don't care about that here! The small stores are easy to rob, cops being a small threat unless it's jewelry. All you do it run into a wooded area and they loose you. The second best place to scavenge in town.

Gender :: Female.
Ranking :: "I'm the leader of the colony, so you better respect me. I'm not mean, but I won't tolerate trouble makers."
Age :: "I'm nineteen years old. I may be young to be running the Dugout, but if you don't like it then get outta here. I'll have Dex give you a personal escort."
Personality :: Sam is a wild, fun and crazy person. She likes to mess around, pulling off some pranks and stuff, but not too much. She is very laid back and has very few rules, but they are important so don't break them. This girl has a great temper that people hate seeing. She can be violent, but not to the point of disrespecting her fellow colony. It is mostly only used in combat training and fighting against gangs or police. But normally, Sam is a great leader and amazing friend for her colony.
How I Got Here :: Having an alcoholic and abusive father and no mother Sam left her home in the West side just because she didn't feel like getting beat ever evening when her father got off work. At the time, she was around 16 years old. After a year of living on the streets in the East side, she met Dex. They became super close, not in a romantic way, just like brother and sister. Neither one of them could picture dating each other, it would just be too weird. One day, when they were strolling through the town, they came across this dead end alley and decided to rest there. A gang showed up, not noticing the two, and then started trying to open what seemed like a wall. Sam and Dex walked up and asked what they were doing. Apparently they had found out that the brick wall was actually a grate door that was used in the prohibition. The gang was trying to open it. Being the clever two that they were, Sam and Dex decided to 'help' them. The gang let them in, even put them in charge of the weapons while they were opening the door. Big mistake. As soon as the door was opened, Sam and Dex turned on the idiotic gang. Let's just say, the grated door became the Dugout.
Love Life :: "Me? Have time for relationships? No thanks. But if anything comes up, I'll be sure to let you of all people know..." Sam isn't one for crushing. In rare times, she kinda falls for that one guy, but it never goes any where. She likes to put her duty to the colony first.
Anything Extra :: This is my dog, Punk. She is a German shepherd and wolf hybrid, but loves to play and is very protective.
I do have tattoos. I had to become a full out rebel right? Here's one of a wolf paw that's on my shoulder blade, paws circling my left wrist, and a musical heart on my right wrist.
I am in love with wolves, don't know why but they just are so interesting to me! Music helps me through everything, so I just had to get a tattoo of that.

Personality :: Flirty, cocky, sweet, strong but gentle, lovable, serious when it comes to his job.
History :: Dex had the life. Loving parents, large house, a dog. He was what you might call rich. Everybody in the school knew about him and loved him. Or so he thought. They really just wanted to be apart of the money. Yeah there was the occasional good friend that stuck with him for a while, but those never really lasted in his life. The only thing Dex liked about it was the ladies. They all loved him, and being attractive helped with that as well. He played on the football team, not the star like in the movies, but it helped him get through issues. His junior year is when he really got sick of the whole 'rich' thing and so he left with a few of his collage buddies. They got an apartment and his parents were sort of alright with it, wanting him to grow up and be mature, yadda yadda, all that. Then, all the collage guys wanted to do was bang girls and drink. Don't get him wrong, he loved the girls. But it just wasn't for him, so he left and found Sam.

Anything Extra :: I have an Australian shepherd named Rose. Love her to death! I even have a tattoo of a rose on my side, right above my pant line, in her honor, cause she's my baby! I also have one of a tiger on my shoulder blade, no color. It's not too big, about the size of my fist. I love tigers!

Ranking :: "Just a little helper. I make the meals, clean up every once and a while. But I'm not a maid!"
Personality :: Adam is a shy kinda guy, usually quite unless you get him to talk to you. He is the type to just do his work and not interact, but he'll stay with the group. If he thinks he'll never meet you again, he'll try and be cool around you for the short time you're together. But other than that, this kid normally sticks to his art.
History :: "I was born and raised in England, if you couldn't figure it out by my British accent. Me and my father, or so I thought, came to America to transport drugs to a secret gang called the Black Lotus. But as it turns out, we got caught and the secret that the guy I had come to trust wasn't my father. He was part of another gang, that I already knew, and they had just decided to take me, the little orphan, in to help with shipping drugs. So, when I was 15 I took off. I've been living on the streets ever since. Ask me if you want to know anymore, right now I'm busy."
How I Got Here :: "I was friends with the leader, before we both went our separate ways on the streets. We met up again and she accidentally led me to this place."
