Sage watched Dylan for another moment, then stared out the window. "You know, I think it's an awful idea to pair up boys and girls in the same hotel room. It's just asking for trouble." That was the one thing that was bothering her about this trip, besides it taking forever. Boys and girls should not be in the same room together like that. It was just asking for heartbreak, drama and just plain trouble.

Ashton nodded proudly. "Sprite. She's my golden Labrador retriever. I've had her since I was a little boy." He adored Sprite. Without that dog, Ashton was pretty much lost. She was the only thing that he could turn to in his time of need or when he felt lonely. And she was the first thing that he had grabbed on his way out the door to live with his aunt and uncle. She continued to play frisbee with Romeo till he was bored of it, then she stuffed it back into her bag and pulled out his favorite ball. "Romeo, fetch!" She told him, tossing the ball as far as she could and watching him chase after it. This continued for another couple minutes before she put the ball away and told him to go play with the other dogs. "We're only going to be here a little while longer, then we're going home." She told him. He obviously knew what the word home meant, because he turned and rushed off without a second thought. Sighing, Kat plopped down on one of the benches in the dog park and watched Romeo as he played with a golden retriever, earning a small giggle from her when he was tackled by the dog.
