While he was yelling at Kayla he kept glancing at Alea as she nervously bit her lip and watched the confrontation.
"Are you okay?" he asked cautiously noticing that she was shaking. He wanted to hug her, but he didn't wanna get punched or have her freak out worse. Kayla was an idiot he couldn't stand that she was so mean to someone. People often thought he was rude or standoff ish, but in all reality he was a sweet heart. One of the girls he had ignored because she was well to be honest way too easy and he didnt want that walked by them and sneered
"Oh look the bad boy has a heart" he knew she just said that because she was jealous not that he was being cocky, but she had been trying to date him forever. He ignored her as usual hoping it wouldn't cause Alea to run or anything. Her eyes were captavating, she was so beautiful.

He giggled at her cute expression.
"So what would you like to talk about, we kinda have a lot of time to make up for" he said thinking about how many years she was gone. He started to play with the hem of his shirt nervously he didnt want to mess anything up.

Sophia woke up frowning with tears leaking out of her eyes, the same way she did every year on this day. This was the day. It was so hauntingly present, she knew exactly how the day would go: her family would walk on eggshells around her that morning, she wouldn't have to go to school, and everyone would stare at her with pity. She hated this day and will forever hate this day. She drug herself slowly out of bed debating if it was worth it or not. She fed her rabbits on the way to the shower. Once she was out she threw her hair into a messy bun and grabbed a sweater and yoga pants. When she got downstairs her parents were already eating and the looks they gave her made her want to run back up to her room and curl into a ball. She couldn't take anymore pity. She said a quick goodbye and grabbed her car keys. Randomly she decide to drive to the park near her house where she used to play. It wasn't too crowded but not completely empty either. As she made her way to the swings memories started to resurface. Once she sat down the tears started, then she couldn't stop them. She cried all over again for her friend. She remembered sitting here the day they met, they were only 6 years old. A little boy pushed a girl off the swings and she was crying so Sophia walked right up and punched him. Ever since then they were friends. Sophia was always the strong one, she still has to be the strong one.
