Nevaeh frowned in her train of thought, standing swiftly and strode over to her brother who was busy restringing his guitar. "Hey..um..I'm going to go to the cafe downtown..I'll meet you at the zoo later" she told Percy earning a nod and turned to gather her things before walking down town.

Percy sighed in frustration as his finger kept slipping from the turning peg. Giving up He decided to case up his guitar. Standing his ruffled his hair with his hand, and watched his sister leave for a few seconds before turning the other way towards the zoo. It wasn't large like some he's seen in other states, but it was a fairly sized attraction.

Emily smiled brightly as she looked up at him. "It's so nice to meet you and Smokey. He is so cute. "She said and picked Smokey up. She cradled him in her arms and smiled. She looked up at Kaylen and blushed slightly not knowing what to say.

❝She looked away from her book to see that the elephant was now looking at her and she save her a smile as if she was asking her what she was doing. She nods down to her book and nips at her bottom lip watching the calf run off and the mother follow quickly behind it. Her eyes looked back down at her book, it was just the mother and the outline of the calf for now, but maybe she would return and finish it some day soon. Her scanned the area around her and she took in a deep breath, it was a pretty zoo and she couldn't but wonder what other animals it had in store, since the elephant was just the first animal that she had seen.

Pushing her long brown hair out of her face she closes her notebook slowly and tucks her pencil back into the spirals of the bine of it. She wondered who all came out to the Zoo or maybe she was the only one that found it to be an interesting place to go. As a strand of hair fell down into her face she manages to catch the outline of a boy with a guitar case, but that was about she was able to see of him without focusing.

"Stupid guitars these days" Percy mumbled stopping to hook a shoulder strap and slung the case over his shoulder and back. Frowning he vowed never to purchase a pawn shop instrument again, honestly he didn't know what made him do that. Looking up he saw a girl admiring the elephants across her. It's been a while since he has came here, so the calf must be relatively new to the zoo. He sighed stopping to lean on the wall barricading the mammal from the tourists. He had to admit..the calf was cute.

❝She had managed to get the loose piece of hair under control once again and she looked up to see that the boy with the guitar had made his way over to the elephant pen and was now looking at the calf just like she had been and she nipped her lip once again, a nervous excited normal habit of her's. She let out a small giggle and spoke loud enough for the boy to hear. "He is cute isn't he?" Her eyes looked at Percy just long enough so that he knew she was speaking to him and then they flicked back to the baby elephant and his beautiful large mother.

Percy gave a soft smile back and nodded breaking his focus to look back at her. He blinked for the longest time ever, feeling his cheeks redden softly as he realized how long he had stared. "Y-Yeah, they really are.." he smiled looking back at the calf who seemed to be interrogating him.

"Nice to meet you Tucker" he added, flicking his blue eyes to gaze at the young calf who seemed to enjoy itself prancing around his mother.
