Ginny smiled. "Hello Cody and hello Nick, my name is Ginger but I strongly prefer Ginny," she said in a casually friendly voice.

Cody did a nod and looked at Nick, she mumbled something, then bit her jacket sleeve.

Nick pushed Cody forward but covered what he'd don't by putting his arm around her. He smiled, "Are you busy today? I have a lot to do..." He looked at Cody, "And I don't want her to be lonely."

Cody elbowed him in the gut and slightly shook her head at what he said.

Ginny blinked and raised an eyebrow at the two. She thought they were nice but weird...

Nick laughed, "Ok, fine." he said, "Cody doesn't have um... well any good friends because she is new around here."

Cody bit her lip ''I don't need friends, I have other things...like music, and...'' she couldn't think of anything else. she huffed and looked at the ground.

Ginny nodded realizing they weren't weird, they where just friendly.... which was weird to her since she was a full fledged New Yorker. "Ah, I see," she smiled softly and turned her green gaze towards Cody. "I also like music but doing nothing but listening to it can make a person feel lonely- I know this from personal experience of course," she blinked.

Cody shrugged "So, I don't like people very well, I grew up being alone in my room most of my life, so I'm not good with people, and I have no idea how I even got him as a friend, and a boyfriend" she said "I'm a bit shocked"

Ginny laughed lightly. "Well arn't you a lucky lady?" She laughed more. "I am socially awkward, but I blame myself- you see, after my mother died my father became addicted to loaning and gambling. The only friend I had was my cat, Sorry," she frowned. "But, having friends does make life easier."
