Kennedy swore as her knee banged against the door of her Honda, today was going to be one of those days. Grabbing her bag she slammed the car door and made sure she heard the click of the lock before marching towards the halls of the high school. Kennedy slipped inside the school and walked quickly to her locker. She had forgotten one of her books in her locker yesterday and she needed to catch up on the reading. She snatched the larger history book from the shelf and closed the locker door with a slam. Kennedy leaned against the locker and opened the book, her eyes quickly scanning the pages. She might be popular, but she still cared about her grades.
