Dante started as he took a big breath, stuffing his hands in his hoodie's pockets, "My mom, before she went delusional with drugs, always wanted to pair me up with her. It was weird, since we share almost the same blood, y'know. I never agreed, although I would take her out but we'd only see a movie and have a burger or something, that's all. We weren't attracted to each other, which was obvious already." Laughing, he locked into a gaze with her, his blue eyes continuously gleaming, "Another big difference is that you're way, and I do mean way beautiful than her. She was average looking but neither horrendous. You definitely overtake her with much."

"Sure! Why not!" Violet smiled. "I'll go get Vio and meet you there." Violet looked around for her brother.

Dakota nodded and set down her skateboard. she pushed off and started heading to the skate park. she glanced back a few times and almost ran into a few people.

Vio looked up and walked to Violet. "Sooo?" He asked. Violet shrugged. "Were going to the skatepark now come on." She grabbed Vio's arm and started to walk off.

Dakota jumped off her skateboard, kicked it up and grabbed it. she ran up to the chain fence and unlocked it. she walked in and left the gate open a bit so it wouldn't lock again. she went over to a ramp and set down her skateboard. got on and pushed off.

"I'm sure you think that I'm shamelessly hitting on you, right?" Dante asked with a slightly smug chuckle, spreading his knees and quickly going to support his elbows on them, all this time watching her curiously. He shifted his gaze onto his hands, as he continuously fidgeted with his fingers, but not necessarily out of nervousness. More because of not knowing what to say. Girls used to sway in his arms, but he rejected them as politely as possible. He actually never even dated more than three girls, who, more or less, he eventually turned down the next day. He was never the type to date the whole school, although he was a jock. Their captain, precisely.

Dakota stopped at the bottom of the ramp and glanced around. she thought she heard them but maybe not. so she shrugged it off and pushed off and up the ramp.
