He was almost all the way up the stairs, when he stopped and turned his head, glaring at Thomas and Aleksander. "I'm not that fat, guys! I'm not gonna break these steps, and hey, I'm just trying to be brave!" Brian took another step up, still pointing his flashlight at the two below, and took another step, making the boards creek loudly.

Thomas

Tom rolled his eyes. "You keep showing off, and it's gonna bite you," he said, and began to look around the house. There were many rooms lining the hall to the left, he'd probably explore in there first.

aleksandr looked at brian. she huffed out an annoyed breath, rolling her baby blue eyes at him. she winced when the floorboards creaked underneath brian. "uh huh. don't be like me. being brave and a show off at the same time doesn't work well. because next thing you know your in the hospital and an embarrassment to everybody," she told him. thinking back to when she was being a show off and dare devil one time. didn't work out in the end. "so don't go off on your own at least," she warned him.

Brian

He let out a long sigh. "I don't wanna go alone, but none of these pansies are gonna go with me, obviously!" Brian completely turned his body, holding onto the stair railing. "The good stuff is always upstairs, and people always miss it. Then I heard this place has an attic or basement or something too, and I definitely don't wanna go in those alone, but nobody is gonna want to come with me, not in a creepy place like this!"

aleksandr groaned. She glanced around before quickly walking up the stairs to him, huffing out a breath of relief that they didn't break underneath her. "I swear if you get us killed or some crap I will hate you forever," she told him harshly. She bit her bttom lip, glancing around. "The only reason I'm going with you is because I don't want you getting hurt to bad," she sighed.

He shook his head. "Hope you two don't die up there, I doubt anyone will go up if we hear you screaming, good luck," he said, walking off down the hallway.

Brian

He smirked as she joined him on the stairs, and climbed the few rest of them slowly. "Oh, well someone is starting to show some concern," he chuckled. "And I don't think you'll have the chance to hate me if we're dead, dear." He flashed the flashlight around the upstairs part of the house. A small hallway was there, with a few doors. "Looks like some bedrooms up here, maybe a bathroom or something too."

aleksandr glanced back at thomas. she sighed before following brian the rest of the way. "don't take it personally, love," she told him, looking the other way. "true. but if we don't die but still end up injured, I can still hate you," she commented. she looked down the hallway, frowning. "I'll probably gonna regret coming up here..." she murmured quietly. she turned her own flashlight on, flashing it into one of the rooms as she approached it, looking inside curiously.

Brian

"We'll make it out of here, calm down. And even if you did hate me, hey, atleast we'll still be alive and breathing." Brian walked alongside her, and looked in the room next to the one Aleksandr had been looking in. Aside from the paint peeling off the wall, the room was pretty neat. He'd expected most rooms to be trashed, but this one was actually in a decent condition.

aleksandr shrugged slightly. "I suppose," she muttered. the room wasn't to bad, just a chair fallen over and a mirror broken. she sighed before looking away from the room. "I can't even remember why the heck I agreed to come here..." she said firmly, glancing over her shoulder, feeling like someone was behind her. she felt a faint shiver through her body, but shrugged it away.

"Maybe you were bored," he responded, stepping into the room. He started to look in some drawers that were part of a dresser. "People tend to do really dumb stuff when they're bored."

aleksandr shrugged. "possibly..." she murmured. "or. I might've been my usual dare devil who can take on anything self, and accepted the challenge of coming here.." she commented. "darn my boyishness...." she muttered under her breath. she looked over at him, shaking her head slightly before looking down the hall again.
