Ash walked down the dusty sidewalk, her head down and earbuds shoved into her ears. She was listening to Rat a tat by Fall out Boy as she walked; her head bobbing along to the beat. She was dressed in almost all black. She had on a galaxy tank on under a black leather jacket. for pants she wore simple black skinnies with Black combat boots. She kicked the ground as she walked, trying not to bump into anybody.

Max walked around in the city, smiling at all the stupid shops and laughing kids. Two small children ran past him, laughing and playing. Max watched them as they ran circles around a fountain, until one ran around the other side and the chase continued. They bumped into many people, but no one seemed to mind.

Nona sat outside the cafe she just got a part-time job at. It was her first day and she already felt like she worked for 2 days straight. The bleach blonde girl at on the steps on the cafe with dark, simple sunglasses. Her left hand was on her forehead, and her right held a cup of hot, creamy coffee. Nona had just already worked 8 painstaking hours with no brake, finally to was her brake and she felt like passing out.

August stared into the windows of different shops on main street, he ignored the people rushing and talking behind him. He stared at a manicin wearing a sleek, tight black dress that turned a sparkly silver at the bottom. It also wore a gray belt around its waist. He glanced over to the other manicin that was wearing a fancy black vest with a silver long-sleeved shirt under it. The manicin had to pants tho, August guessed someone already bought the pants, the wallflower with the thick, black glasses thought of what the pants looked like. He just sighed and walked on.

Ash continued walking until she came to a small café. She glanced at it before deciding to get something to drink. She took out her earbuds and paused her music, passing a blonde girl on the steps. Ash glanced at her briefly, and a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Once she was inside the shop, she waited in line until it was her turn. The woman working the counter gave her a weird look, obviously disapproving of Ashley's piercings and "Bi pride" button she wore on her shirt.
"Hello! How can I help you?" The woman asked. Ash thought for a few seconds before replying.
"Can I get a small frappuccino please?" Ashley said quietly. The woman nodded and quickly made the beverage, and Ash walked outside and sat at an outdoor seat.

Max was smiling and walking, glancing at the stores on the other side of the street. Suddenly he bumped into a boy with thick glasses. Max gasped and his hand flew to his mouth.
"Ohmygod I'm so sorry I should have watched where I was going!" He exclaimed in a rush. His face grew red and he adjusted the grey beanie on his head.

Nona yawned before taking off her sunglasses, letting her blue eyes covered with jet black eyeliner and smoky purple eyeshadow show. Nona looked down at her work dress; A black mini dress with a red tie. She sighed again before hearing the bell on top of the door ring. She glanced over seeing a girl with blue hair walk into the cafe, moments after the girl Nona's 'boss' came out, he was not really the boss, more like the bosses son. Oh great..Nona thought blankly and stood up. She easily took the light yelling from him and walked inside, as soon as she walked in, Nona disapeered around the corner into the backroom.

As August walked on, he suddenly felt like he was forced back, being the one who always blanked out walking, he was quite surprised at the sudden bump. August's glasses slipped to his nose tip and slowly fell off, He clumsily caught them and looked over at the person he ran into. It was a male, looking August's age, he seemed just as surprsied. "I-it's okay." August answered softly, in a shy voice before putting his glasses back on and looking down.

Ash watched the girl get yelled at by who she assumed was her boss. Ash rolled her eyes and sipped her frappuccino, letting the bitter yet sweet liquid rest in her mouth for a few seconds before swallowing. She swirled the light colored drink a bit before taking another sip, observing more people as they walked by. An attractive girl with brown hair and fake glasses walked past talking on her cell. An awkward boy with dirty-blond hair and glasses wearing a beanie walked past talking to another boy with greasy black hair and hazel eyes. Ash sipped her coffee.

Max was still blushing, but he stuck out his hand anyway for the boy to shake.
"I'm Maxwell Short, but call me Max." He said boldly, a small smile returning to his crooked lips. He looked closer at the boy, taking in what he was wearing and his facial expression.

Nona trotted back to the main room, switching places with the girl behind the counter. Nona waited for more people to come in.Slow day....She thought and checked the clock above the door. And two more hours..She thought, annoyed.

August paused before looking up at Max "August.." He answered softly. "I-i'm August." He said a bit louder and shook Max's hand. With his free hand August fixed his glasses to fit comfortable on his face.

Ash finished her coffee and threw it away inside. She smiled at the girl at the counter briefly before walking back out and putting her earbuds back in. She went back to walking and listening to music.

Max nodded, noticing the boy pushed up his glasses. He didn't know what to say next, so he awkwardly played with his hands.
"What bands do you like?" He blurted out randomly, then cursed himself inside for asking such a weird question. Why did that even matter? Max didn't know.

Nona glanced over, seeing a girl that brifly smiled at her then just walked away. Nona looked at the clock above the door a sighed. Two more hours, she could make it....hopefully. Nona sighed as the next customer ordered, but by the looks he gave her she knew he didnt approve of how she looked. Maybe it was her many tatoos, maybe it was her over maker up covered face, maybe her hair. Whatever it was, he didnt like it.

August looked at Max, confused. "W-well. I like, Fallout boy and My Chemical Romance...alsi some aowl C-city.." August looked up and said "...And, some others."
