FidelFidel had awoken and made his way down the stairs...not too late in the day, but apparently late enough for his brother not to be there. With their parents gone, who knew what kind of trouble Francisco was getting into? What Fidel couldn't understand, though, was why his parents left him in charge of a seventeen year old. [Luckily, the young ones had gone with their parents, so that was two less things to worry about.] Frankly, he didn't feel like he should have any responsibility over his brother's actions; he was old enough to know and follow the rules or not follow them. Besides, Fidel wasn't
that much older; they were more like a few months apart than an entire year... But, whatever. This was how it was, so no sense in complaining.
He took a seat on the sofa - too lazy to make himself something to eat at the moment - and flipped on the TV. "Hm..." His mind began to wander even as he looked at the screen. '
Maybe I'll stop down at the coffee shop for a pastry or something... Or--' His thoughts were interrupted by the clicking of nails against the hardwood floors and he looked up to see his Vizsla, Ciro, clumsily trotting toward him with a toy in his mouth. As Ciro rested his head on Fidel's knee, he gave his fur a playful ruffle and managed to snatch the toy away from the dog, catching him off guard. The dog immediately stood at attention, ready for his human to throw the toy, but Fidel only taunted Ciro with it and took part in a mini game of tug-o-war before letting the dog finally have it. "Good boy, Ciro," he praised the dog with chuckles as it chewed the toy ferociously and it squeaked for mercy. "Maybe...I should take him for a walk to get some of his energy out, then head down to the coffee shop... Then again..." His out loud thoughts trailed, and he looked back to the dog. "Ciro!" He called to get his attention and his head shot up. "Go! Go play with Sam!" ...'Cause that's what having two dogs was for. With that, Ciro grabbed his toy and scampered off.
"I'll take him for a walk later," Fidel murmured as he stood. He then headed into the downstairs bathroom to make sure his hair was in perfect order and his
clothes were straight. He then made sure he had his phone and keys before heading out the door.
